Ubi, do you know who sells sets with correct shape/length hands? I noticed that some of these ETA sets have even wrong hour hand dimensions...

I really like Gary quite a lot and I do think he carries some great products. However, the one glaring issue with these hands (in my opinion) is the seconds hand and how short the tail is on it. If you were to mix/match the hour/min hands with a good seconds hand and have them relumed to match, I think you'd end up with a great set of hands. But the cost to do this would be a bit more than the $14.50 bargain...

for me it was an eye opener when i found out that quartz atches also need servicing. did you find out yet how much it runs to service this movement? being 10+ years old it is probably due for overhaul.

Thanks very much! I was hoping to hear from you By Tor, I too am a gmt freak. I have 25 watches and for 6 mo I only wore my Bvlgari gen and my GMT rep and now they are both gone. Its a tough situation, both the maid and the babysitter are still working for us, I leave watches out all the time and none ever come missing. I cant imagine what happened to them as I take them off when I get home, set them in my room somewhere and put them back on the nxt day. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Im so frustrated but I think they would have turned up by now. I will closely heed your suggestions, thanks again.

This is a swasian movement in best case scenario, in worst case its all asian. But its never 100% swiss.

Unless davidsen has access to Panerai assembly line to get those engraved plates...

Probably some hedge fund manager who made a killing in last 12 months shorting everything and everyone now feeling bad how college financing dried up ... in any case its cool that not everyone "up there" likes to show off.

In my last university the guy who gave millions every year made sure everybody knows where the money come from. Lol, you have to write thank you letters every year (if you receive a scholarship), like they care or have time to read these letters.

This guy (or guys) get thumbs up from me !!!
