  1. Thank you. You know, you should give your TOG some wrist time. Really!!!!
  2. Hi 310Jag. Your TOG is very nice. I like it. I was not really in the market for a TOG uintil I saw mine. I was pretty well acquanted with the TOG as I was once looking to get the org. When I saw the one I bought, I knew I had to have it. I can't really find any flaws. Mine even has the raised crystal, I also really like the Jubilee bracelet. It's very comfortable. And, yes, it has the SEL's and the hidden clasp. Thank you for your response, and I hope that you enjoy your TOG as mch as I enjoy mine!
  3. OK, here are some shots of my new Rolex Turn O Graph. What do the experts think of this one????
  4. Neil, do you do your own photography??? You always have some great photos. Maybe you can give us some tips??
  5. My new yachtmaster. So, what do the Rolex expert think??
  6. I know that this is like comparing apples to oranges since one watch is an SMP GEN and the other is a SMP GMT rep. But, I spent $850.00 on the gen as a used watch. The rep goes for in the neighborhood of $100.00. So, what exactly does $750.00 USD buy????? Let's take a look: The first part of a watch we see is the dial and the face, so here are both side by side. The cases are VERY close. They damn near match up perfectly. The dials are also pretty close (despite the differences). The screening is sharp on both, and the wave patterns look great on both. The bezel insets are different, but that is due to the model differences. As always, the gen has it with the bezel pearl. Also, the bezel is a bit more rounded on the edges, but that would not be apparent unless these two watches were side by side. Now, the BIG difference is with the lume. In the dark, the ORG glows like it is radioactive. My SMP has one of the brightest lumes I have ever seen. It even out lumes my Seiko Orange Monster. The next comparison is with the bracelet links. They are VERY VERY close. The rep is still in the plastic, and my org has been around a few years, and it shows the wear. Although you can't see it in this picture, the rep's links are noticably thicker. The clasps are also close, but the org has a much deeper lettering. Also, the "feel" of the org is much better. On the org, the divers explansion locks into place much more securely. The case backs are very close. Note, here you can see the difference in the thickness of the links. So, what does $750.00 buy you???? Well, I would not take the rep diving, and I know that the org is sealed like fort knox. I have had it underwater many times with no ill effect. I do doubt I'll ever go down to the rated 300m. Still, if I did, it would be reassuring to know that my watch would still be working when they dredged my dead body up. And, of course, there is a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that I have a real Omega on my wrist. I must like it a lot, since I own three Omega orgs.
  7. Joe, I highly doubt anyone could ID that as a rep. It's about as close to 100% as a watch can get. Very very nice!!!!
  8. I own a Omega PO that I purchased from Andrew, the "Trusty Watch Guy". It's amazing. While it does have a few minor flaws, it is by far the best PO rep I have seen. Here is a quick and dirty of it.
  9. Neil, you are definitely a legend in your own mind. By the way, if you were this quick to respond to your customers emails when they have a problem, you would be the absolute best dealer on these forums. I guess it is easier to just ignore someone once you have their money, even if the watch you sold them is a useless paperweight. Now, I have better things to do than match wits with someone that is completely unarmed. Funny, but I'm still waiting for a response from you as to where to send that alleged watch you sold me for repairs. It sure seems like the only way to get a resonse from you is to butt heads. (There goes that butt word again)
  10. Neil, sorry, but BUTT plugs are definitely NOT my obsession. Please keep your recreational activities to yourself. That is MORE information than we all need. (YUCHHH, please make sure you don't place it in your mouth by mistake!!!!) :-) The real OMEGA is a beautiful work of art. That is why I footed the bill for the real deal. I have a real Omega Speedmaster on my wrist right now, as I am typing this. As far as telling someone that a real Omega has a problem with the stopwatch, and it has to go back to Omega, well, that is just a plain giveaway. I own three real Omegas, and they are all 100% perfect. The real deal watch would not have to go back to the manufacturer for a problem like that. If it did, then the owner would send it back ASAP, not sit on a defect. After all, OMEGA DOES STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS 100%. No one that purchases an OMEGA would have to sit on a defective watch, or have to deal with less than 100% customer satisfaction, Nor should they for the cost of that product. Just like another dealer on these forums says, a replica is just a replica. Not the real thing. If you believe otherwise, then you are living an illusion. Relicas can be fun, but we need to realize that they do not fool everyone. BTW: Do you ALWAYS have to flame anyone that does not happen to agree with you? The original post asked for my opinion. I merely gave it. If someone does not want to be open to a negative reply, they should not ask. Plain and simple.
  11. The date window is the wrong color, the subdial spacing is wrong too. Anyone that knows this watch could pick it as a fake without looking too hard. Sorry, but I call them as I see them. Overall, it's a nice watch, and if you are happy, that's important. I have abstained from this style watch because no one makes one with the correct subdial spacing. Funny, everyone is so anal about this with the Rolex Daytona, but no one seems to be that way with the Omegas.
  12. Heck, it's not like we drew a caricature of Muhammed!!!!!!!!
  13. Hey, here are two for Klink, if he finds his way here!!!!!!
  14. Hey, speaking of finding things, take a close look at this image. Can you spot the feminist???

  16. I'm in for one of these beauties. I can't wait to get it. This one has enough fixes on it to make me stop waiting and pull the trigger.
  17. I'm not exactly sure what went down, but I was away for a little bit, and suddenly I found out that everyone had moved over here. Anyway, I'm very happy to be here, and I'm looking forward to good times, great discussions, and lot of new watches.
