  2. hi everyone, I'm looking for a super ocean and have found this one from Andrew http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_144&products_id=10421 has anyone bought one? I have watched his video but it's from 2013 so I was wondering if these are out of date models. He doesn't list any others on his site. I really like the blue second hand and super ocean in blue. I bougth a Omega planet ocean early on this year, it's a nice watch very pleased with it. Or has anyone got one for sale in the UK? thanks Kev
  3. Been keeping an eye on Gumtree and there are quite a few bad copies of omegas on there. One person is asking £2000 for a fake!!!!! I've reported it as a fake, I'd hate the idea of someone buying it, totally wrong.
  4. been looking at this http://www.pf-818.com/omcpo45302-pocean-chrono-ssss-blkorg-p-16189.html any comments? Ive not bought anything from this guy before, is he ok? Kev

  7. Where would be the best place to buy one of these watches. I have a cheap seamaster but id like a chrono version just like the one in the photos. Unless some one has one for sale Kev
  8. The luminous hands, dial looks quite good, very bright.....
  9. well its 4 days now and its still running and keeping perfect time, i set it with my iphone friday and its still the same.....quite impressed......
  10. yes i think your right, the movement looks the same.......the other model looks just as good!!
  11. Just found this website and this is my watch, and its much cheaper too!!!!!! http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=1414
  12. Im not sure what a noob version is, but i have noticed the helium escapement valve doesn't open. On my cheaper 007 Sky Fall OCP and my £90 sea master 300 it unscrews. Not that Im bothered but it would add to the realism of the watch........ Kev
  13. Heres a shot of the back, and a close up, it doesn't look like a craftsman has put this together, look at the screw heads......they look a bit chewed.....
  14. I have no idea what version the watch is, It did say it was a ETA movement, it looks pretty good against photos of genuine OCP's. My other omega reps just have a blob where the pearl is located, this one looks like the pearls fitted to the genuine models. Mine has just got omega and the icon and the oval shaped release buttons on the clasp just like the new models. However the one i ordered on Andrews website looks like it has the ceramic bezel, as on the pictures that i looked at, it said liquid metal technologies. I did ask him about this and he just replied 'its the latest version' I bought a 007 Sky Fall ocean planet about 5 months ago, that looks like it has a ceramic bezel but the only thing that lets it down is the blob for a pearl and under the 007 engraving on the clasp, it says TM Danjag.......or something like that. Im not sure of the movement, but the second hand doesn't sweep as nice as this new on i have. Kev
  15. yea too right, I've just had a reply from Andrew after i told him what the problem was, he just said 'well done'.......LOL thats not what i wanted to hear, maybe 'hi Kev, sorry about that, heres £50 back for your trouble' or 'sorry about that, i will send you a replacement part' If anyone on here has any contacts that have better reps, i know a few guys and me would be interested. Id like to get the wife a nice rep for her birthday but i don't want to have to take it apart!!!!! Kev
  16. heres some photos of my watch, i don't think its a perfect copy but its not bad. I don't think there is a perfect copy out there.....
  17. Hello everybody, I'm a recently joined member, like everyone on here, i love watches..... I have several replica Omegas and the latest one i have purchased was from Andrew at Trusty Watches. I bought a Ocean Planet Orange Bezel 45mm which i think looks very much like the real thing. The reason for buying? i had a look at a real Omega ocean planet and to be honest, i wasn't impressed. I honestly don't think they are worth paying £3800!! so i opt for this rep. After i ordered the watch, i did find a few comments on line about the quality and Andrew as an individual. Some said "yea good watch, nice guy" others said he was a wrong un!!!! It took nearly 3 weeks for my watch to turn up, and upon opening it, i find a small scratch on the bezel and the auto counter balance didn't spin 360 degrees. I contacted Andrew with my concerns and i feel as if i was palmed off a bit. He sent the quality control photos through as he does, but he obviously didn't check the counterbalance to see if it was ok. Oh by the way, it has a see through back (which i quite like) He told me to allow the watch to "bed in' but after looking with a powerful magnifying glass, i could see a part of the counterbalance wasn't fitted properly and it was catching the lower casing so it wouldn't spin 360. I sent him some photos (taken with my macro lens) which clearly shown the problem. I asked if i could send it back, but he instructed me to take the back off and slacken the screw holding the counterbalance, he said it was probably to tight. As soon as i got the back off, it was obvious that the part was catching the lower casing. I managed to remove the counterbalance and with a pin head, i applied a spot of cyno glue to the gap and held it together. Once re-assembled it spins as it should do. The reason for this post is not to complain, but rather show concern that some of these reps and their sellers don't really come with any sort of backup or guarantee. I would have been happy to post it back to him in China, but i got the feeling that he didn't want that. Lets face it, i could have damaged it taking it apart, its a risk i took, but i am quite mechanically minded. heres a picture of the part at fault Hope to have some good discusions regards Kev
