Wow, $275 is pretty darn good. I've had mine for approx. 14 yrs. Not sure of the production year or serial #, but I can find that. By far the most durable (like a tank) watch I've ever owned. Doesn't get the attention it deserves due to all the reps in the watch box. I get a good laugh when I go into the AD and look at the current prices! Thanks for the info. guys
Just a general question about having a Sub serviced outside of an AD. I have one in need of service and a relume. Just hate to continue to spend the crazy service fee. Like to hear thoughts about having it done outside of the AD and possibly some recommendations! Thanks
Correct to gen if they are 1.6mm. I think what Dluddy was referring to about inaccurate was
how bright your previous dial was before the FGD.
Wish I could blink my eyes and mine was finished.
T, that is very special!!! Are you using a newer DSN 201/A case with the LH cg? Also, what type of lug screws are you
using, DSN Pre V lugs or 1.6 mm (per gen) 3 pc lug screws? Inquiring minds want to know!
Does anybody know where I might find 4 lug screws? I had the pleasure of purchasing a 204
and the screw heads were beat to H*LL! So much for "Full Disclosure". To make it even more
interesting the screws from the 45mm Rads don't work
If someone has an inside track please let me know.
This is what I understand as well. The two most popular options appear to be a case from Josh/Andrew (backordered) or an Eddie Lee 005 case (not a chance in HE-- of finding). Either way both have to be drilled in order to use the two screw system. If someone can share share more light it would be greatly appreciated!
I'm in the process of doing a similar project except for a 201a and I'm in the same boat. I've heard that DSN's case will not work with V's or LH's cg w/o severe mods.
Along the lines of swapping the metal bracelet on the AP ROO. Has anyone used the rubber strap offered by Angus or Andrew? Curious to know if the conversion kit which comes with the rubber straps would work with the aftermarket straps (StrapLuxe, AP Bands, etc...)?
What would be the worst case senario if the movement died down the road. Does anybody have any idea of replacement cost? I have the chance to purchase one, but I want to know what I'm getting into.
