I ordered one the moment I could. Figure this is a rare enough bird to take the chance. No QC pictures yet.
Any QC pics or took delivery on this yet?

Please keep me posted. I wanted to do the same this weekend. Thought I would hear some thoughts/see some pics first though.
Cheers

I meant Angus at Puretime. Getting mixed up with Andrew at Trusty, sorry.
So has this been delayed? It appears to be in stock at PT...

Anyone any opinions or reviews on this new piece? Looks spectacular except the Quartz aspect but apart from that it's looking like a very tempting proposition.
Is it only available from Andrew at PT?

Needles?Thanks for your reply!
I have also heard that you need to have needles in a certain position before changinf date for example?

Was never really all that fond of jubilee until I wore one. They are so much more comfortable than oyster bracelet and the look has grown on me. They are less tool watch looking granted but on the comfort front superb. A nice option in rotation with Oyster.

Do you do your own work?

I always look forward to seeing your builds. Keep up the good work.

Good man. Could have easily been either one of us as I see you were interested too.

Its a line from Shakespeare's Hamlet meaning something smells fishy. Sorry to hear you've been lumbered with this but I will always stick to my guns with the old adage 'if it seems too good to be true then it probably is'.

So is Gen to a certain degree. A little more of a satin finish but nothing spectacular. The TC is great except the bracelet and clasp are very sharp.

I always knew that something was rotten in Denmark!

Are you taking about the machinery required to manufacture the watches or the movement itself?
-
Just to add I can't vouch for faults on noob 116610 as I have never seen one in the flesh nor would want to own one.TC is unquestionably very good and I would have a 16610 over the newer 116610 any day! The new line of Rolex have completely lost all that made them special in my opinion.

Day trip to Chernobyl!

Anyone had any good experiences experimenting with silicone rubber to make straps?

Mother's day!? Have I missed something here? Where you located? I thought we've already had it. At least in UK anyways. Nice watch anyway. Congrats

Its huge, look at how much space there is on the outer edge around the tachymetric scale.its not that the bezel is big, its the in black ring on the dial that makes the dial seem small in comparison. they did a good job on the dial but the measurements are off, so it looks unbalanced and cheap.
and as @dbane883 said, no lugholes, pass.
