  1. Ok, I got a Breitling for Bentley in the mail today and I am trying to resize the bracelet. I unscrewed two of the screws and the links should just pull apart, right? Well, they will not budge at all, I tried another link and same thing.

I was going to try the other two links with screws on them but when i try to unscrew them they just spin.....the other side (nonscrew side) just spins.

Anyway, why the hell won't the links just pull apart after the screws are out. Any suggestions?

  2. If I put one side of the spring bar into place on the one side and try to compress it no matter what angle i try to insert the other side there isnt enough move to move it into place. Seems like the only way the endlink would insert is if I go straight in....seems really tight, I feel like i need to compress the spring bars with a plier tool in order to go straight in......anyway, I will keep trying. I am about ready to just purchase another sub and have one with the bracelet and the other with the nato.

  3. When I first got my IWC GST Ti I wore it into an AD and he asked to see it, I handed it over, he checked it out and said it was very nice. Granted they didn't carry any IWC....he was trying to sell me a Fiddy at the time. Like others have said, we are able to spot reps out more easily then AD's because we live and breathe reps. We compare photos of every angle, checking font, lume, canon pins, etc....the closest most AD's come to reps is the 2 feet away from us when we are standing there with our reps on checking out their gens.

  4. And of course this is correct these clubs will come from the factories that make the genuine items, the seller has also offered to allow my customers to buy one club to check the quality before buying the set.

And yes this is now offically a go, I just need time to organise the sales I need to put up for these and you will all find them on 'Bergies Belts'

    Cheers

    Ken

Sorry, i missed that part that they come from the same factory.

  5. Not to rain on anyones parade here, but has anyone personally bought a set of fake golf clubs. I bought a set of fake Callaway X18s. They were awful, looked just like the real things but the weight and feel of the clubs were way off. I went to to the range with my friend that had the same real Callaway X18s and what a difference. I had my friend randomly give me a club so I didnt know which one was the real X18 or the fake one. I was averaging about 10 yards farther with the authentic ones....also my normal ball flight is a little draw and with the fake clubs i hand no idea where they were going....draw, slice, fade, hook, straight....it just wasnt consistant.

In my opinion, i would stay away from replica clubs, they just don't match up to the quality of authentic clubs.

  6. but... come on friends

ANYONE of you... (maybe :bleh: ) do all this mods... to saying: YES it is genuine.. or will that other people think it is genuine if they look on your wrist???

    NOT ANY???

    realy???

    :g:

I have yet to mod any of my reps but I am thinking about it, Why? because i want them to look 99% real, all of my current reps are as close to the real thing as possible. I don't want to own anything that is obvious to someone that it is fake.

I know most people on here have said that if they are asked if their rep was fake, they would say yes........but not me, and i have no problem saying this either, if someone asks me if any of my reps are fake, I would say no, it's genuine.

Has anyone asked me if they are fake, nope, not once, but I guess its because of my profession and fact that i can afford the genuine of all the reps I have.

So, to sum it up, why mod, to make it look more genuine.

  7. come on people, we need more votes, especially since I voted for the Ebel :1a: and that Seahawk is SOOOO ugly. :yuk:
