  1. These are classics man! Can someone share on which are the better models to get for a start as I'm planning to get too. Thanks.
  2. I agree this forum really benefits the members. When I got my first replica I wasn't aware of this forum yet. True enough it wasn't such a good deal I got from my watch as there are some obvious flaws which I only came to know when I discovered this forum. Next, I think IWC cousteau diver is also from the same maker as the HBB. Price wise also on the high side and running on asia 7750 too. Does anyone has any comments on that? Or does anyone find that its a much better buy compared to HBB? The reason is that I saw both watches and each has its own beauty except price is on the high side.
  3. Haha I'm aiming for this model too! Any other flaws other the subdial at 3 o'clock where the '20' is not on level with '10'? And by the way for HBB which model is a better replica?
  4. Hi people, I'm lucky to have the chance to have a look at the HBB and feel it in my own hands from my local dealer up close. The finishing is indeed very gorgeous! Price wise, I agree it's on the high side. But movement wise for the asia 7750, many watches are running on these movements too example some Panerai models, Breitling models, IWC models etc. If the movement is not good, then sure a lot of other replica collectors that have watches running on asia 7750 will be complaining too. I think it's more of a personal opinion. People will think if they are forking out $800 for a HBB, they would expect the movement to be of a certain standard. Then again it could be bulk of the cost is gone into the finishing that's why it looks so nice and gorgeous. Anyway, does anyone has any comments on those HBB not rose gold plated ones that cost around US$500? Are those worth the price?
  5. Hi Stephane, thanks for the advice. Anyway waited for a while so the urge is subsided...shall wait for his reply and in a way also good as help to save up a bit and not any how spend! And since it's so good, guess good things are worth waiting for thus I shall wait.
  6. Hi Fred, thanks for the pictures and posting of this thread as I'm planning on getting a Submariner too. Managed to learn a few things here and there which are pretty interesting. Without some of the experienced members pointing out the finer points I would not have realized that much differences too. And Stephane, in fact I'm narrowing my choice down to TTK's noobmariner too but so far no reply from him yet......it's a waiting game hope it's worth the wait...
  7. Yap hope no risks...I also wish they have paypal options
  8. Thanks for the info pals. So is it true there's something not too right with the movement that's why the time is like moving faster? And I have read about new watches having to have some 'run in' time, is a month plus in this case consider a good running in time? Just curious, does all Asia movements tend to have this problem of time going too fast or is it just my watch?
  9. Hi dear all, I have a PAM89 running on Asia 7750 movement if I'm not wrong. I just got this watch for about one and a half month. These past 2 weeks I observed that the time seems to be going a bit faster. I have a clock and a quartz watch for reference. I realised after 2-3 days after setting the time on my PAM89, the time on my PAM89 seems to be around 5 minutes faster compared to my clock and quartz watch. So after which, I again tried to set the time on my PAM89 to be the same as my clock and quartz watch. And after like 2-3 days later it is again still like 5 minutes faster. May I know is there something wrong with my watch movement? Should I send it back to the dealer for servicing? Thanks.
  10. Wow thanks for the suggestions! Well the Chanel J12 series is in fact one of the choices. I'm just concern if the black ceramic version are they close to the gen ones or looks like plastic type? As for Cartier don't think there's any model she fancy. And for Omega Constellation, has anyone got the 'Nicole Kidman' series, are they good? Thanks.
  11. Thanks for all the suggestions pals! Appreciate it, will go digest all the info and decide what to get. I'm mainly looking for tools for opening watch case backs and changing of watch straps. And is it true rolex watches need special tools to open up the case backs? Thanks.
  12. Dear all, I'm new into this hobby and need some kind assistance. I'm looking for watch opening tools whereby I could use it to change watch bracelets/straps, opening of case backs etc. May I know where could I find these tools in Singapore or are there any recommended ones available online whereby I could get a set? Thanks & have a nice weekend.
  13. Thanks PaulV! But I cannot find any albums on pens. Is it some where else on another different album?
  14. Does anyone know what is Narikaa's website? I have done a search and browse through the traders section but couldn't find any. Thanks.
  15. Hi andreww, may I know how to find the dealer whom you mentioned that carries the newer rep straps that are close to the genuine ones? Thanks.
  16. Hi dear all, I'm planning to get a lady's replica watch for my partner. The problem is that I'm not into ladies replica watch. Do you all have any suggestions on which is a good and nice model? Ok here is a little more info she likes slightly bigger watches so could be those around 38mm ones. I would appreciate and kind feedback. Thanks!
  17. Hi any comments on the above?
  18. Hi dear all, may I know is it true that the black leather strap that comes with the Navitimer replica is not nice? And I saw a number of feedback that Bob straps for the Navitimer is excellent. Please advise. Thanks.
  19. Oh great! Looking forward to pictures of your lume!
  20. Rang up my local banks as well as VISA and Master none have this 'gift' card or virtual card scheme over here. Sad case man.
  21. Hi dear all, I'm planning to get the Breitling Navitimer and I have two versions in mind. I would appreciate if you all could enlighten me which would be a better choice. And is it true those with subdials at 12-9-6 o'clock position is better than those with subdials at 3-6-9 o'clock position? And in terms of movement is the new asia 7750 at 28,800bph more reliable compared to the old one? Ok here are the two choices: 1. Navitimer two tone edition (stainless steel and gold plated). The subdials are at 12-9-6 o'clock position with black dial and stick markers. 2. Navitimer similar to the one featured in the John Trovolta advertisement but with stainless steel strap. The subdials are also at 12-9-6 o'clock position with black dial and stick markers. Thanks!
  22. Hi ubiquitous thanks for the pictures and explanations! So in this case is it better for me to get those Daytona with seconds subdial at 9 o'clock position since the one at 6 o'clock tends to be a bit tricky?
  23. Sad case man, I rang up the banks over my side none has this gift card scheme. I saw from some previous threads too, some of you all are using it that's why today afternoon I rang up the banks to ask.
  24. Thanks for the reply ubiquitous. I thought the Daytona already has a separate second hand together with the hour and minute hands. So this subdial at 6 o'clock is also an additional seconds hand?
