Downstate Brooklyn, NYC
i was late for an interview with the director of this medical coding program iw as trying to finagle my way into.. arrived at downstate about 5pmish..
went to an elevator.. this girl stepped out.. i swear my eyes went STRAIGHT to her wrist..
dunno the model, dunno the build, but it was a pam on a rubber strap and i am almost certain it was genuine
plus she was a cute girl
i swear i almost asked her to marry me on the spot lol but nah, it was wild though
seriously, i still think bout it to this day

got this in the mail have fun to those who go...
bring your rep?

Bro, the only tools you'd need are a pair of dish-washing rubber gloves, and a cocktail stick/tooth pick
Put the gloves on, and, with gradual thumb pressure, unscrew the caseback.
Remove the gloves, so you have better fine controll, and with the tooth pick, gently ease the 'needle' of the regulator over to the right by 3 'points' on the engraved scale. (I believe that would translate to speeding the movement by five minutes per mark, so 15 minutes overall)
Put the gloves back on, and replace the caseback. (just make sure the o ring is properly seated before replacing the caseback)
You might want to initially try moving the 'needle' a single point at a time, just to double check the results, but honestly, it's very easy to do, and doesn't require specialist tools
Best of luck
just did it gonna check if it fixed it later tonight.. hope it did
@Tanya: thank you, i did contact rex so this thread is great regardless since i now know a cool watchsmith in our community!

this is a masterpiece chief!
knowing firsthand the quality of the fm and seeing the mods you did, that piece would stand up to any true fm and you wouldn't even blink
did you ar the glass..?
as to the poster above me this is true 2892! i know, lol i sold the extinct fm to chief
wear it well chief, this is a tremendous piece you have

Have you tried tweaking the 'needle' of the regulator? That might help... If not, best of luck finding a watchsmith
i so don't have teh tools to tweak around
anyhows im jus gonna find a watchsmith.. lol i'd actually just junk this and get a new rep but i had the crystal double ar'd and would hate not to use it, lol
-
*LOVE* it rolli.. and *LOVE* your taste for choosing the 201A to be gold
great taste.. as 201A is my street-gear as well
-
must be the regulator or needs servicing or something
but my HBB RGPC = daily beater
my PAM 201A = every other moment i ain't wearing my hbb gear.. lol
anyhows I noticed since Thursday it is 15 minutes slow.. so needs servicing or a watchsmith to look at it
my problem is I dunno any.. can you guys recommend US-watchsmiths that can handle my pam?
halp

Hey Tom !!!.. I have the same silver faced dial.. but it really .. really needs Chiefs AR.. I had some other priority crystals this time around .. but first chance I get it is going IN for the "coat" .. one of the nicest "silver" dials I have IMO...
the silver face helps offset the lack of AR
and i don't wear it at all.. lol i got 2 watches that sits on my winder.. MBTW and HBB Gold Matte.. the mb tw is there in case i get an all-SS watch itch
but this release is just... annoys me.. where is the hbb bracelet?! they can do a polished SS-with PVD midlink bracelet but can't do nothin for the HBB?
are they for real?!
-
this is sexy.. seriously seriously sexy
and MB's are seriously underrated..
I have a silver-faced non-chrono swiss MB that's like 1:1 super-rep but it barely gets talked about
this pvd-ss combination is just... BIG BANG! style
....so great i'm actually annoyed.. how the hell can they do a SS-bracelet with PVD midlinks for this and yet can't do anything for the HBB's?!
i mean come on..
you kidding me?! they for real here?! grr
-
to this day.. my best purchase
its actually spoiled me because id get other reps but i keep goin back to this badboy
HUBLOT BIG BANGED ROSE GOLD POLISHED CERAMIC

I find my 21.6k to be noisier than my 28.8k. With one good shake, the 21.6k will whirl more than the 28.8k, thus making more noise. Since some HBB now are equipped with 21.6k, it migth be the problem. Chopard also had 21.6k before newest version.
very good point.. the OP didn't mention price-range which will tlel us what kind of HBB he got
mine was among the top of the line steel-diamond bezel.. from the "2nd factory" (the ones with the screw down crowns)
...so i knew right away something was wrong because of the way the rotor sounded.. that and the fact that only 2 of the chronos worked
so yea, i sent it back..
-
i had an HBB like this.. the "noisy" means not normal
it's a loud whirring sound like a jet's about to take off on your wrist, lol
send it back, i did..
-
nice pics tom! i really want the plat mat, but cant justify the price tag, although it is a beautiful piece. congrats
on the gold mat.
thanks I've had it since release
worn a total of 0 times.. what can i say, my HBBRoseGoldPolishedCeramic spoiled me

been playing around with HDR images lately
(google it )
and anyhows I took out my HBB Gold Matte out of the winder it been sitting it forever now to give it a whirl
still need practice, but I gotta admit I like this "HDR movement" (basically you take 1 shot, 3 different exposures and it creates "magic".. it's not a filter for photoshop or anything that stylizes cartoonizes anything.. it's REALISTIC and yet not at the same time which is why I guess I'm drawn to it)
ORIG
HDR
another shot
ORIG
HDR
messed around with some tone mapping details
ORIG
HDR
some may say, but.. didn't you just bump up the saturation and contrast and such? Try it for yourself.. you'll only DISTORT your image.. HDR is something completely different.. it enhances and highlights without making it something else entirely and anyhows i wa sjust messing around and sharing
HDR images! good stuff, good stuff!
edit: added shots of the watch untouched.. compared to the hdr-tonemapped one, it ain't totally crazy since i'm just an experimenting newbie but hey, it's fun stuff man

lord give me strength...
i'm thinking of selling all my reps now to finance a project
err all my reps being a montblanc TW, my unworn HBB Gold Matte and a base swiss pam 111h, lol
never would i let my HBBRGPC, PAM 082 or PAM 201A go
i'd get the all black
slap on a Polished Ceramic Bez on it.. just my cuppa

Have a read :
http://www.hublot.com/hublot_prod/site/hub...lot_replica.pdf
Apparently Hublot concedes that the high end fakes are not easily distinguishable from the gen apart from looking at the movement.
So unless you take off your high end rep most can't pick it's rep ?
if you do a searches for me, after I got my HBBRGPC back in the day when it was still "cheap" LOL cheap, heh
but uhh, i've always contested that the *ONLY* weakness it has.. is that it's a rep soon as it goes off your wrist
loving my 'daily wear'!
