  1. Black with orange numbers, although they're all sexy IMO.
  2. Thanks offshore, I will do the test as soon as I get the watch, I'll also contact Andrew to see if I get some sort of guarantee.
  3. Like I commented before I bought 2 PO, one the 45.5mm UPO Lite and the other a 21J PO 42mm, I bought the $50 waterproofing service from Andrew for the UPO 45.5mm, after reading the threads for the 'white lies' the dealers make I became quite upset and a bit afraid that I've been ripped off... any comments on this? Should I contact Andrew or similar? Need some help here guys, I just hope to hear that I at least get like a ''warranty'' if my watch gets some water inside, I had bought the waterproofing because I never take off my watches, not even when I take a bath...
  4. So I'm looking for an Orange bezel that will fit my new UPO 45.5mm from Andrew, I'm buying a Shark skin strap and I want the Orange bezel insert to change it from the black to the orange for those trips to the beach that come once in a while and then change back to the normal black one upon my return, anyone know where I can buy such an insert? But mainly, can this be done without damaging the watch? Thanks!
  5. The strap looks great! I'm browsing some Sharkskin bands on Rustwatch eBay store as we speak, I'm definitely getting one of those for the beach. However I'm looking at his store and I'm finding only straps on the $30 or above mark, maybe I'm in the wrong store, is this the one: Rustwatch eBay Store
  6. Just ordered from Andrew two PO, first one is this one for me: UPO 45.5mm with Red Numbers And this one, which is for my dad: PO 42mm Black Bezel w/White Numbers **I added the waterproof $50 option for the 45.5mm version BTW. Any thoughts on the watches, specially the 42mm one with the 21J movement? Might I add Andrew really surprised me, sent him a question and less than 1 minute later *BAM!* a reply! I was amazed how fast he replied to my questions, now that's great customer service !
  7. Hey guys, thanks for the replies, I contacted Andrew a while ago asking him. Andy I appreciate your recommendation, however the watch repair shops here are not really to be trusted (most), and the ones that are trusted I called and told me to take it to 'La Joya' which is a retailer of mayor swiss brands including Rolex and Omega, however since they're AD of Omega do you think they would be able to do it? Or should I stay away just for the sake of the Replica? It's conveniently placed at 3 min. by car from my house, however they charged me $150 when I took my Speedmaster for repairs because I needed to change the O-ring and had busted the winding mechanism and a tiny fix was needed... a service that would've cost me $40 in the US... That's El Salvador for ya...
  8. Will do Roger, just one thing, do you know what the STRAP/BOX PAYMENT on the link are, are they like 'add a box/strap with your order for a bit more money'?
  9. Hi, I'm buying 2 PO (one UPO 'Lite' 45.5mm with red numbers/black bezel and another PO which is the $118 PO with white numbers and goes for $118 which is the 42mm version), however I'm buying the waterproofing option for the UPO 45.5mm, in order for those two not to get confused and they waterproof one instead of the other should I add the waterproofing in a certain order, for example, 1st the waterproofing and then the watch I want to waterproof and then the watch I'm leaving alone? Also can anyone please explain me what these are for: http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...1fe590fdc077498 Thanks!
  10. Yeah, I have a comment: You lucky bastard!!!
  11. BTW, I've decided to go with the Omega PO (Ultimate 'light') $128 from Andrew, and I'm thinking about waterproofing it for the $50 he asks for that service, any thoughts on the waterproofing? I would appreciate any comments if there's a cheaper way of waterproofing it, a DIY, etc. Or if it's completely necessary and if it will change anything in the watch, I have to let you know before any ideas arise that I am going to use it on the beach and occasional shallow dive (20m at most) hence why I need the waterproofing, thanks for your input guys!
  12. Quick question, what are the noticeable differences between the "Lite" ($128) and the Swiss ETA movement UPO ($278)? I've searched to no avail, so can someone help on this?
  13. Hey guys, after lurking for a while in the forums and looking at many, MANY reps that are convincing even to some watch pro's, I've narrowed down my search for my first Rep. The Omega Ultimate PO 'light' with orange numbers (Asia Eta 2824-2 28800bph) and the Rolex Yachtmaster Rolesium (New version with Swiss ETA 2836-2 Movement), both from Andrews in which the UPO is $128 and the Rolex YM goes for $188. Catch is, I want one as my everyday watch but I just can't decide on one, could you guys help me choose? I have a Gen. Speedmaster that I used t wear everyday, however I wouldn't want anything to happen to it so I'm leaving it for special occasions only. So guys what do you say, both are beautiful watches as you can see, so, Omega or Rolex? I have just 2 questions about the 2 watches: 1.) What are the differences between the 'Light' UPO with the Asia Eta 2824-2 28800bph movement and the UPO with the SWISS movement? 2.) Should I waterproof the UPO 'light' or Rolex YM, whichever I get? I'm planning on using it on the beach. Andrew will do it for me for $50. Thanks guys!
