  1. MQ has a fat font with serif that looks not bad to me. Unfortunately he ask +200€ for it and it’s a bit hard to deal with him. He will try to send you another insert than the one you ordered based on his website pics. It’s pricey for an aftermarket but far less than gen fat fonts insert.

  2. Here is the link to my decals thread where I shared photoshop templates.

You will find a roulette file to print on decals. You will have to find the good print size according to you dial date window, 23.24mm work well for mine. To sum up, take off overlay from your movement date wheel, erase numbers with alcohol to keep white background only, apply decal with microscale micro set and and let it dry a day, then glue this nice overlay on date wheel and enjoy it ;)

  3. Hello Bart
    Why the dial looks greenish?
I had a Vietnamese 6542 dial also look like dark green too.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Hi Calvin
It’s probably the combination of gold and black ink on transparent decals when sunlight hit at some angle.
Concerning VN dials it’s probably the combination of black ink and transparent yellow varnish layer in same condition of light.
  4. It was a pleasure my friend, I could not leave one of my "babies" in this condition ;)
I'm pleased to read you like it, and I must admit I liked to wear a Silix again for few hours before send it back to you. I allow myself to add some wristcheck and dial photos.
And yes I repolished the bevels a little bit.
