You did misread. 'Sans Serif' = 'Without Serif'.

Yep, read it again and spotted the date font thing. Mine is thankfully sans serifs which means I have got the Swiss ETA version. Phew!

I may have misread, but sounds like the asian one IS the serif version:

The datefont on the Lite version is different. Andreww wrote a good review of the Lite version, which explains the differences quite accurately. See it HERE.

What a huge disappointment this replica was! Pearl is awful, bezel is weird and of course it has completely wrong looking crown guards and datefont. Above all this it has a Seamonster caseback with the engraving "SPEEDMASTER". This is a real shame because the genuine is a great looker. Stay away if you're looking for accuracy. Another wasted opportunity and half-assed job by the factories.

what is the typical length of time your Omega SMP crono will continue ticking when left untouched? 1 day? 12 hours? 3 days?? Mine seems to just stop after less than 16 hours....is this normal?

also, do you guys keep the crono "ON" or just leave it off? I have it one because it acts as my seconds hand, plus it looks nicer that way...just curious to see what you guys do.
