  1. Anyone know of a trusted replica jewelry site? I'm looking to buy myself and my girlfriend a couple Cartier Love bracelets/rings.
  2. Does anyone have a good method to remove the back case screws from a brand new replica? Everything on the watch is very dry, and the screws are very tight - I am afraid of using too much force on them, as I do not want to damage the screw heads. The very first thing I do with all my replicas is open the back case to check the movement and make sure they sent me what I paid for. Does anyone have a good method to loosen/lubricate the screws for easier removal? This seems to be an issue with every single rep I order - all the screws are very very tight and dry, including the screws on the links.
  3. This is the one that I have had my eye on. I love this watch! This was such a great post. Thanks for taking those pictures. http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_163&products_id=5851
  4. My goal today was to find the most expensive two-tone submariner replica that I could find and buy it. This is what I have decided on: http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10456 Before I pull the trigger I just wanted to get some last minute feedback from a few members and see what you guys had to say about this particular sub, or possibly point me towards an even better quality two-tone that I failed to find. Thoughts?
  5. This watch looks really cool, does anyone have any experience with it? http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=34_70&product_id=1037
  6. For anyone interested, I found this replica on Toro Bravo's website; the one he has seems to have that "frosty" edge that Jion had pointed out: http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=75_143&product_id=674
  7. sorry for the delay on this guys, here is what I am talking about, there are like chunks of filler missing in several of the numbers on the bezels.
  8. i received all the watches and have since placed 3 more order with the same TD - very trusting in him now. All payment sent WU. Thanks for the feedback guys.
  9. Man that's a pretty close replica! You should put them both on a scale and compare the weight in grams, as well! That's the only picture you're missing! The only thing that I noticed was the coloring of the stitching and obviously the engravings are a little rougher machined on the replica. If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase the rep from? I have been craving a Cartier Santos for a while, and after seeing this, I think I'm going to pull the trigger!
  10. Yes, i've seen a few decent prices on ebay in the $30 range, but most are more than I'm willing to pay for just one rotor....especially for the super high end brands like Audemars, Patek etc...I was hoping someone on here might know a good contact that sells replica parts..I want to make a bunch of these in different accessory forms with different brand names on them, so ideally if I could buy like 10 for $100 bucks or something that would be nice...If people like them, who knows i might even turn it into a little hobby to finance my weekend bar tabs ...I mostly want to hand them out to friends and family and see if they like the idea, but first I need to make them haha
  11. Does anyone know a good source to buy decorated replica oscillating weights (various brands: AP, Hublot, Omega etc...)? I have some really cool ideas that I want to use them for (keychains, necklaces, and other men's accessories). Ebay only sells genuine parts, and they're expensive...I imagine replica rotors would be cheaper. Any referrals?
  12. Hello guys, My new watch just arrived today from Andrew over at Trusty Time, and I wanted to share some pictures that I took with my girlfriends super fancy professional camera I was pretty impressed with how well they replicated everything, including the internal magnetic shield; the only thing I hated was the fact that they misspelled "Switzerland" on the inside of the back case (Good thing no one can see it lol). Anyway, just wanted to share these pics.
  13. Just pulled the trigger on the V6! I went with toro and used western union for a 10% discount; ended up being the best deal. I also ordered one of the AP's on sale that he has: http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1386 What do you think about this one? it was only $208 - How do you think the case compares to the V6? (obviously the movement on the V6 beats the $208 model, mostly interested in cherry picking the more accurate/"gen looking" parts)
  14. Im on Trusty Time looking at a few two tone submariners...why is the 14k wrapped version $140 dollars more than the 18k plated version? what is the difference between these? Which one of the two would you say is the closest rep to the genuine? See links below http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=12144 http://www.ttw8488.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=11329
  15. I've only had this problem with 2813's....Its happens with about 10-15% of the 2813's that I've purchased - It's super irritating; I was told by a seasoned replica hobbyist that it's a QC issue from the factory....something about how some units have too much space between the teeth on the gears, which in turn creates a slapping effect which gives for a noticeably more "ticky" second hand; it doesn't affect the accuracy of the time at all, it will just give it a really crappy and uneven sweeping hand....other higher end movements have tighter QC procedures, and they make sure that the teeth fit perfectly into the other gears, which allows for a very fluid and consistent flow....that's my knowledge of the matter...could be something else though; that's just what I was told...
  16. Awesome! I guess ill be ordering both and cherry picking the parts that I like more Thanks for taking the time to write this. Great knowledge.
  17. So buy both, swap the movements and then sell the V6 case with the TF movement? I really like this model AP. Just looking at the pictures I can't see any difference between the cases. You mention that the TF is your preference on the wrist; any particular reason why? They look so identical, I'm curious to your reason. And Thanks for the feedback! I'm new to reps and want to know everything that you know about this watch!
  18. I have found 2 AP's on Toro's webstie. The V6 version sells for $358 and the TF version sells for $328. They both have miyota 9015 with 28,800 BPH and as far as materials go, they both are the same...which would you pick? Is one more accurate to the original, as far as "little details"? Any particular reason to spend the extra $30 on the V6 model? http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=1566 http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=958
  19. haha! This guy has new watches every week...I've never seen him list a watch for less than 1k...What audacious advertisement. and yes, its also super ugly lol
  20. I was searching replicas on craigslist and found this lol
  21. DUDE HOLY SHhhh...I just beat the hell out of it and its working now LOL
  22. yep...wound it for a minute straight and nothing i just bought a new 2813 off ebay for 36 dollars including shipping. now I have to wait another 2 weeks lol
  23. lol...i've removed the movements and crowns many times from a watch case, the part I'm not confident doing is the dial and hands swap..if anyone has a good link on how to do the whole process, would be greatly appreciated...
