The EL j12 is good, but is pretty different from the real deal. I had one for a month or so, and sold it to get a gen chrono. It just made me want a real one even more.

A gen is basically scratchproof. I've got a 41mm chrono in white and it feels much more solid compared to a rep I used to have. There's another flaw in the reps, on the underside of the bracelet. It has screws holding it together, where the gen does not.

Is there any way I can buy some of those metallic pins from someone?

I did and they say that there are no spare parts available. I was wondering of someone had a way of finding another way to get them.

I'm looking for replacement pins for the bracelet of a real J12. I don't even know where to begin looking. They're two pieces, with the pin and a small cap that snaps in place over it. Example picture:

It came with the watch, which is for sale. $260 shipped in the US. $450 new.

Let me know. I'm not looking to fool anyone, but I want a better finish than I have.

This is my new watch from EL. I want to do a few things to it. I want to recoat it with a less glossy more correct looking PVD finish and I want to relume it. I don't know where to find the right people on here to do it. Show me the way.
