  1. @thrillseeker.....sorry no IWC on the horizon......I'm trying to work with my supplier on one of these GP's......problem is the factory work from genuine models...not photos.....I don't mind buying the genuine.....it;s just that the factory can't guarantee to put it back together again...after dismantling.....

I'M DROOOOOLING! I AM ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR QUALITY CONTROL

  2. Hi, am not an expert but are there any difference between the $119 or the $109 SS models from paul? There are so many ultimate SS Rolexes that I am confused! Which is better? Are there any other dealers that sells the LV16610 SS rolexes that are better than Paul's for similar value?

  3. Just been to Bangkok last month, the place where you could get replica watches is a shopping centre called MBK and I think it is about 60 to 90 minutes from the airport. It's a huge 7 storey shopping haven and most reps are found on the 3rd and 4th floor. The cheaper reps are on display but they have a brochure of reps that they keepthe better quality reps hidden. Those with japanese auto movement costs about 3000 bath but Panerai with swiss movements can cost up to 12000 bath. Didn't buy any as the prices aren't that much cheaper than those being offerred at Silixprime but you get to feel the watches.

Traffic is bad in Bangkok anyday at anytime but there are toll highways above the normal roads from the airport to the city that would help cut down travelling time in a taxi. A possible solution is to take the motorcycle taxi from MBK (loads) to the airport...quicker!

  4. Thanks for the responses. I am 99.9% sure this is the 7750 but if anyone thinks something else, please let me know. Second, to the first poster, on your 1950, what does the top right do and the bottom right? I have messed around with these and now if I press both, nothing happens. However, if I open the "clasp" (not sure of correct wording) it seems that the seconds stops and the bottom "resets" the entire watch?

    Cheers!

I was informed by the dealer (Paul) not to play with the buttons too much..........the top push button is for the stop watch function (the big seconds hands will move) the bottom push button is to stop it. To reset to the 12 o'clock position press the top push button again. U have to wind the watch first for it to work. The chrono at the 3 o'clock position indicates the minutes for the stop watch function. Mine gets stuck after a few minutes but not sure who to send the watch to, I think it needs 'oiling'. I couldn't get it to work initially as I was afraid to press to deep but U got to press deep enough to make a click sound. Hope yours works. Mine keeps good time though! :yeah:

BTW the watch looks much better with a rubber strap with a deployant.

  5. What a bummer!

Am a newbie myself, bought a PAM212 flyback with lemania mot myself and it works well. It is a manual and I have to turn the crown about 40 times every morning to make it run for 24 hours and a bit. It's quite tiring!

The articles in RWG forum on the Asian Valjoux 7750 so far has been discouraging, the newer improved version is supposed to be more reliable but this is not always the case. There are issues with this movement. Apparently it needs to be serviced as soon as possible. Please read The Zigmeister's write up on this movt.

Not sure where U can get longer straps for your Bvlgari Diagono, hope the others can help you with that.

  6. Oh dear! Looks like I should stay away from Asian 7750 even if it's the improved version. I was planning to get the IWC GSTchrono myself as it is a beutiful watch but I think I should stay away.at least for now.

The problem is I live in Malaysia and I don't know who to send the reps to for oiling etc!

    What a bummer! <_<:(

  7. I've recently received my IWC GST TI from PT.

Communication was easy, watch was delivered within a few days to Central Europe, quality of watch is very good (looks like gen, Valjoux 7750 copy, no lume).

I can only recommend precious time.

    Cheers

    psda

Great looking watch! I am looking for one...how much did you get yours for may I ask? How do I contact precious time?

  8. I THINK THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH STATING OR ASKING FOR AN OPINION ABOUT A DEALER IRRESPECTIVE HOW HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THEY MAYBE. DEALERS ARE HUMANS....they do make mistakes.

There are no 'perfect' reps, so don't expect 'perfect' dealers. Most of the RWG recommended dealers are generally reliable and in this online ordering business there are bound to be dissatisfaction. It's the norm I would think, and one or two unsatisfactory deals or practices does not make them 'bad' overnight.

SPEAKING FOR MYSELF....I WOULD LOVE TO BE INFORMED IF A NEW BETTER VERSION OF A REP IS ON THE WAY. THE PROBLEM WITH A NEWBIE GREEN HORN LIKE MYSELF SEEING PICS WITHOUT 'FEELING' THE PRODUCT MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SEE WHICH IS BETTER, HOW MUCH BETTER TO JUSTIFY PAYING MORE  !
