well, i am pretty sure that the SOSF from silix has the flaw that I have been talking about

i am a noob in watch and even i can tell just by comparing my watch and the pic on the gen website...

i just dont understand how the hell did they make such a mistake.... is that why silix can sell it so cheap?? super-rep with defects?

hey FxrAndy, i am glad u finally know what i meant LOL...

anyway i do find it a big issue cos that means anybody can easily spot it is a rep if u ever compare it with a gen... anyone can tell they are different...

what the hell man, thought i bought myself a super-rep, now....

i am quite disappointed about that even though the watch is great overall

wow, sounds like a much cheaper option to get the rubber strap then... are they any good do u know? thanks a lot

is it expensive to get the gen leather strap for the SOSF??? anyone?

is there much different between the steel strap on the rep and on the gen???

ok, but u should be able to tell the difference by comparing your rep with the rep pics posted on this thread by other user...

Well placing my rep next to the catalog with the seconds stopped at 12 i see absoloutly no difference, but also bear in mind that breitling have proved to be not the most consistant, in the 07 catalog there are versions with a fat and a thin date window and with curved and straight S in super. Also although the picture (looks like a computer image as opposed to a photo of the watch) you show looks like it is looking directly on the face it may not be, if you have both in your hand at the same time (and i have) the difference between the rep and gen is so negilible it is not realy worth talking about and if there is a diffenrce in the seconds hand at all it must be in the 10ths of a mm.

Then take a look at the rep, u can see the difference when the second hand reaches "12"...

guys, take a look at the red square on the second hand, it is higher up than the gen on the breitlings website... why the hell is that?

When the second hand of my rep is at 12 o'clock, the little box is in exactly the same place as the gen pictured above. The second hands are the same.

the one i got from silix... the red box is simply higher than the gen..

i am talking about the red square bit, check the position of that compare with the gen in the pic, it's just different, one is higher than the other.

no they are not, take a look at the gen pic i got from breitlings website...

then take a look at ur rep from silix... one is higher up than the other one...

On the gen, the tip of the second hand reaches the middle of the "double ring" around the outside of the dial. I have three SOSF reps (two from Silix, one from another dealer...all three Swiss ETA) and the tips of the second hands reach the same point on the dial.

actually i am talking about the location of the red square with a white circle within, if u take a look at ur rep and the following gen pic, u can see that they are at different position?? one is higher up than the other ???

I've received two of them from Silix in the last two weeks. Second hands on both look perfectly normal to me.
