Thought I'd show these off. Sorry for the bad pictures; wife has a digital SLR but I don't know how to use it

Very impressed with all but noob. Can't complain at the price I suppose. Magnification is way too strong (pictures don't do that justice). That and the pearl were the only things I noticed out of the box, minus general cheap feel/construction. Once I started comparing I noticed about everything else is off also. Text at the top, text at the bottom, etc. Rehaut is wrong and wrong angle. Little engraving on the glass is too visible (true for most reps I think?). But, it'll do for a knock-around, which is what I bought it for. Outside of the pearl you'd have to be good to spot it without staring. I'm actually a big fan of the Daytona. Time bomb, I know, I know. But the dimensions are so nice! GMT will be good for travel. GMT is ETA, other two are aisan movements. I'm not a fan of the asian movements, huge tell is you shake them and they sound like they are prepping for liftoff.

Very nice; the real box has a latch (or at least mine does).

I should have added I lived in NYC for the summer and did listen to it daily; I am no longer there and hence drive everywhere so I don't use the ipod as much since I am never walking or riding. For some reason the audio jack on the iPhone does not seem to fit anything other than the earbuds (it won't fit the jack in my car or on my stereo). They make an adapter though; I just need to get it.

Pug do you find it weird to hold it for videos? I was trying to use it to watch the tudors on the subway but always felt weird holding the thing or staring down at my lap.

I'm currently using a shuffle at the gym, and then the old school video ipod to watch movies on the cardio equipment... kinda silly since the screen on it is smaller so I need to stop doing that.

Grade on a curve and call it a day... at least the worst will still fail.

I have had one since day 1; it is a great phone. It honestly has made my life much, much easier.

I am not a big fan of the keyboard; it is not that great - I can type much faster on a blackberry. If they would allow the user to type an email in horizontal mode (similar to entering URL) that would go a long, long way in my book. That said, I prefer it to a blackberry. As long as I use it the way it was intended - a quick replacement for my powerbook for a fast email or quick google - it is great. No long emails for me. Some people can bang away on it very fast, I admit. I am just not one of them.

I use the camera a good deal more than I thought. It is really nice to be able to snap a quick photo of something and send it to a friend. I also use the built-in google maps all the time, it is great to be able to look up a restaurant on the map, then call it to make a reservation, and then get directions. I am an ical addict so having that sync every night is huge. I am also big on the contact database. I also like having all my bookmarks synched. I read many RSS feeds via google reader, so it is great to be able to use google reader mobile to catch up and then have it show them as read when I get home and want to read the rest.

The part I never use is the ipod part, I just don't. Same for the youtube.

Anyways I can't imagine life now without it; it really is all it is cracked up to be.

I think the 111h is the new sub.... each version is really close but never quite right.

The print color & distance between the swiss text at the bottom & the numeral 6 are the big killers for me.

I used to buy 1-2 a month, now I buy 2-3 every six months.

Ebay is usually loaded with them.

Also include making the white fonts yellowish offwhite

Then the only noticeable flaw will probably be the L Swiss L too close to the 6.

This is huge for me, and the crown, and the # shape.

I buy the latest/greatest braun each year and then go back over it with the 4-blade razor to get what it misses (dry). Seems to work well...

In reference to your "scream trash" podium.. what has bush been screaming for the last 8 years.?? At least Ahmadenijad brings something fresh to the table.... haha. what a personality! I won't go into the israel/palestine debate.. but sometimes i tend to agree with palestinian positions on many levels... particularly ahmadenijad's view of the israel/lebanon situation this past summer and the summer before. I wouldn't venture so far as to compare Israel to Hitler (as ahmadenijad did).... but i can read in between the lines.......

No idea on most of it, but I haven't heard anyone in the US administration calling for genocide lately.... That man in the videos is so full of hatred and contempt. His mother should have hugged him more.

The problem is, having heard one or two of these sorts of "speeches" before is that they are not really a discourse or discussion, it is just some radical yelling about he hates X for some reason. "Because they are jews!" Whatever. It doesn't really contribute to academic discourse. A regulated panel or debate is the way to go, not a podium for someone to scream trash from.

The tip of the hands is much better on the "other version." I got mine from ruby. Josh & Andrew have them also but charge a boatload more. Date window is too sloped on the Silix one. It does have a better cross though. The white silix one looks bleached out to my eye.
