Well said Teejay as usual. The PO looks and feels amazing. I may indeed someday trade it off and get a 45mm. On the vanity thing, I do own several Gen timepieces including a Rolex. I don't think I could wear a rep that would get me called out. I am too OCD for that. I recently send out my 16610 sub to get heavily modded and if all goes well in the next 60 days, I'll be trading my 1603 datejust and some cash for the genuine 16610. Vanity DOES come to play though as I have traded a rep for a very close replica of my 1603. So when it is gone, I can wear the rep daydate and no one, at least at work, and friends will be the wiser. Yeah I am vain. can't help it.

I am going to buy several different straps and chacne it up no and again. I love the way it looks. The vanity im me prefers Rolex's to Omega's because most people recognize a Rolex. I have 14 watches all together so I never know what I am going to be into on a particualr day.

The one I bought from was in Oregon. Not sure it that was Ebay or not. The croc 20mm strap was $30 and teh ss flip clasp assembeled was $14. Yes that was for you Victoria.

Great looking strap on V's watch. I bought a black croc strap w/flip clasp from Watch Prince. I'll post it up when I get it done. My clasp is toast, complete crap.

Thanks....I have a few gens, a Tag S/el, a 1603 Datejust, a good ss sub, and a Omega PO. I just for some reason am drawn to the 16613's. I am just going to have to drop some coin and get the best version I can find. More that likey a black MBW from TTK. I have seen some reviews on tha one and it looks passable for sure. I am anxious to see this PO too. It should be here on Tuesday.

That's what I was thinking too. I'll be wearing my gen 1603 Datejust.....and play it safe.

A week ago, on a impulse buy I bought a rather inexpensive rep of the 16613 in blue. I am a fan of the Asian 21j movement anyway. In pictures this watch looks vivid blue but on my wrist it looks more purple than blue. It has been a while since I was at anAD to look closer at this gen. I saw one today at breakfast on a guy wrist and it looked kinda purpleish too. IMO the pics of this look way more blue than it is in person. Anyway, here are some question for Rolex fans. I think the mag is off, probally 1.5 or 2.0 if there is such a thing. Compared to my gen datejust and 16610 sub it looks smaller. The gold is great save for one thing, the lug link is only plated on top, not all the way around. It is hard to see if it is or isn't plated though.. I had a client in the other day with 16613 black, like 1999 model with the holes in the case and for 3 hours I tried to see that lug link on his and could not tell one way or then other. Now the point... I am going on a cruise and will playing cards, poker and black jack. I do not want get called out on the watch or look cheap (even though I am) but I want to wear it. What are your thoughts. I planned to take my 16610 and my PO but I may want to take this 16613 too. Here are some pics I took today

I haven't recieved it yet. I think I will be very happy. I just have read more threads on the UPO. this is my first Omega rep and I am looking forward to it.

I've read a lot about the UPO, does anyone own a 42.5? I bought one from a recomended dealer now I am thinking I should nhave gotten the UPO instead. Here are some pics of the newest strap. the concept was dead on but my choice in strap lacks experiance. Where is Clive when I need him. The strap is too thin, real thin and waify. I should have looked closer at the thickness, not width of this strap. I will most likey drop the coin for a beefy Shark strap and a deployment clasp vs. the flip. Anyway here she is.
