Sorry for reviving this thread. Nice Gen ! I was wondering if anyone know what CASE MODEL # of the REP is ? If I wanted to swap case backs with a gen, I wanted to make sure it would fit. Would a 861 case (145.022) fit a replica speedy moon watch ? The same one Pugz posted in his first post ? I am willing to swap a "clear" case back for a solid one (that fits). cheers!

Is there someone that you recommend to do a movement servicing, and luming for a replica Omega Moon Speedmaster ? I live in Canada and The Zigmeister would have been perfect. Thanks!

Crap.. what does a full stem suppose to look like ? I'm thinking its not worth it for a $100 watch.

Got a pic.. looks like the stem did not snap off.. I'll open it up later this week to see if it'll go in. Is there a pictorial of how to do this on this forum somewhere? Thanks.

Ok, I'll have to take a closer look by opening up the case. The stem is still attached to the crown. Broken stem ? worth fixing ?

Hi, I bought a Noobmariner, originally from TK less than a year ago. I gave it to a friend and a week ago he says the crown fell out while he was adjusting it. Is this a common problem ? How can I fix it myself ? Thanks! K

Hi folks, A while back I posted a possible group buy for some Tudors from Phong. I've been waiting and waiting and Phong has let me down. Only recently (3 months later), does Phong say he will be getting some in a couple of weeks. Originally wanted 6, but can only provide 3. Says the quality is great ! but no bracelet. This is an amazing watch, but I'm tired of waiting and now there's no bracelet with the watch at the agreed price... I bailed (Phong owes me my deposit still!) sorry for getting everyone's hopes up. I forget who I was dealing with, so I thought I just post a msg to everyone. What do you guys think about this watch? Apparently you can get a good deal from more riskier deals such as this one.. Cal. 861, vintage looking dial. Seller says it has a hesalite crystal. Box BUT NO papers. Item: 190209055589 Thanks, Ken

Is this a x-33 rep i assume? it has two movements.. both quartz that is powered by two batteries. if the analog one is dying, it probably just needs a battery replacement. But if this is a gen.. PM me

Thanks. How can I forget about the cal. 321 ! I may be wearing this watch daily, so the only thing I'm afraid of vintages is that it'll wear it down quicker.. 321s requiring more servicing than a 861/1861? I do prefer the authentic moon watch ! but I'm on a budget of $1000 - $2000 for a Gen.

Any insight from those who know Omegas and the history of Moon watches? If i was interested in getting a gen 3750, would you purchase a vintage cal.861 or a more modern cal.1861 ? Sapphire or Hesalite and what to look out for ? Any suggested places to look for used omegas other than ebay? gen forums maybe? Thanks! K

I haven't visited in a few days! The 7928 didn't meet my expectations and I told Phong about this already. There were no 7928s available for replacement at the time of delivery, so there is a wait if carlsbadrolex wants a replacement. Phong sounds like a nice guy, but tried to squeeze out of getting a decent bracelet. He claims the 9411s will be much better. We will find out shortly. I'm glad the case finally opened! I must have been too excited and squeeze my ofrei ball like there was no tomorrow! Those Ofrei balls are quite good! I will resolve any issues with Phong so everyone is happy, or otherwise I'm not going to continue with the purchases... Oh just for reference.. phong does normally sell these watches for $850. The dial by itself $265. Hands $95.

Oh, btw, the pic of the sub above with the snowflake hands is not the one that I'm hoping in getting.. the true 9411 has a date window.
