Do anyone know if the UPO rubberstrap from PAM111 is exactly the same as the one Trust Time sells ? The strap from Pam11 costs 49 dollars compared to 68 at Trysty ?

Look at the plate ( that holds the balance shaft ! ) under the balance and it looks VERY different in shape compared to the one on the swiss movements! I bought one UPO from Andrew (Trusty Time) and it was with ETA 2842 and he refused to admit it was the wrong movement even after I had send him VERY good pictures. So You really cant be sure of what You get for movement I think ?

Now I have got the "latest batch" datewheel from Lello and mount it in my Ingy ( steel version ! ) and ALL the dates ( 1 - 31 ) is perfectly aligned ( centered in ALL directions ! ). The dial that I had when I got the watch ( from Silix ) , had the problem with a little paint was missing on the bezel insert ( known problem ! ) But I got a new perfect one from SILIX and now it looks VERY good. But I am woundering if I shall send the crystal to K2222 for AR coating but I am a little worried that the watch will NOT be waterproof AFTER I put back the crystal again. Now I can go in to the sauna with it with NO problems of condensation in it ( I have put silicongrease on ALL the gaskets ! ) I have heard that You ALWAYS change crystalgasket ( that is what my watchsmith that work with genuine Rolex watches all day long says anyway ! ) when You take out the crystal !!! Does anyone had ANY problems with the waterproofness AFTER they have taken out the crystal ( and done some AR coating on it ! ) ?

Can anyone tell me how to take out and then put back the crystal on a ingenieur? Have anyone had any problem with for example waterproofness AFTER they have taken out the crystal ( for exaple for AR coating ) on the ingenieur ? ( Normally You always change the gasket to a new one when You have taken out the crystal, I have heard !!! ) Does the gasket for the crystal remain in the watchcase when You take the crystal ? Have anyone had problems with that the gasket has got damagaed when the crystal has been removed ( for example for AR coating

I have the kevlarstrap with deployment buckle ( from Silix ca 50 dollars with deployment buckle ) and I love it. The deployment buckle wears a lot less on the kevlarstrap ( when You put it on and off Your arm !!! ) so it will last longer !? But sometimes it can be difficult to put the strap on the watch because there is to much glue where the srtap fits to the watch ! I like it a lot but beware that sometimes You get a strap that looks quite cheep at the endholes of the strap !!!!

Who sells the best submariner LV without mods ?

I have heard that it is VERY difficult to get the Patek MBW Nautilus ( from TTK ) ??? How meny of You that have ordered a Patek nautilus ( from TTK !? ) has got it ? I bought my Nautilus MBW ( black dial ) from a guy that lives in thailand and can buy directly from the shop ( in Bangkok ) that sells all the MBW/MBK watches!!! And I must say that I am impressed of it, the finish of it is VERY good and the bracelet is a "dream" to touch and wear. You do not even notice that You have a watch on You wrist !!! I have taken it for a shower several times with no problem with condensation. The movement is probably a eta 2824-2 and has kept the time very well ( 0,2 seconds in three weeks!!!!!, thats true !!!! ).

I had an extra eta 2824 and put that one in my UPO ( the black date wheel was a little tricky to mount but it worked out great in the end ! ) and looks very good now BUT The omega symbol on the dial was not aligned correct and told Andrew and then he send me a complete set af a new dial ( with a good omega symbol on it ) AND a new bezelinsert WITH the little pearl and that IS good service I must say ! But the dial for the eta 2842 had NO pins for the dial, it was GLUED to the movement and if there are NO holes in that movement I could NOT have mount the new dial correct!!
