@fitmic, would like to know what is your course of action to resolve the issue. Mine was not just the pain chip but also aligment on all of the marker with respect to their numbers. I told Eddie to send me a replecement dial but i begins to regret that dicision because i don't know how to replace it. @shultz, i am too so count me in. If your are with Eddie like me we are out of luck as he told me he has no replacement. But Jay seems to have unlimited supply of it, why? Good luck and take care

The reason that i asked the question because the Daytona came from a member of this forum and i purchased from him a few days ago and when i got it i expericence the problem. I contacted the member and he said that the problem is easy fix once i can uncase it. I replied to him that the only thing i have done is to shorten the bracelet and i don't have any tool except the precision screw drivers. I am still waiting for him to let me know. What should i do in this case? is the member seller responsible to fix the problem since the watch came unfuntional ? thank you for any inputs

Hi I have a problem on a daytona and the problem is the hour hand touch the second hand. The watch run fine up until the point where hour hand cross path the second which usually at 5 or 6 or 7 hour position and the watch stop becuase the hour hand touch the second hand. How difficult is the fix for the person with no watch experience and without any tool?

Well at least you have the replacement option Eddie Lee does not have spare for replacement and i am stuck with the watch but h will send me the new dial. Happy for you

My concern is about the cost to send the watch back and forth plus the labor cost to replace the dial with The Zigmeister? How much would this going set me back? at the end there is no saving for me from this GB.

Well i have decided that i am going keep the watch despite the flaws since eddie will not be able to get anymore of this watch and it is such a nice watch i don't want to give it up. So i asked eddie to send me a replacement dial. So I am looking for help as how to replace the dial. Please someone out there know how to this let me know and thank you in advance

joshua used to have to model in ss bracelet for less i bought it from him before and sold it to another member. but it has the white dial instead. I am not sure if joshua still has it anymore. should check his website.

I don't know whether you guy agree for the case of my watch and i think watchlover321 case too, there was no quality control at all otherwise they would not have shipped the watch like that. To make matter worst, is that there is no spare for replacement. I doesn't look like it is a easy fix, i don't have the skill and the tools. There is no watchmaker around my area that i know of, who is willing to do works on rep. I like it but i don't have a choice. I am waiting for Eddie to reply to me on the refund.

@estaban, that is a beautiful watch and luck is on your side. I could not live with mine based on the off-centered markers. The thing is Eddie has no more left for exchange. He said all 25 has been spoken for and shipped. I won't do the replacement dial because it ends up cost me more since i don't know how to do this myself.

Hey i am glad you like it. but the problem on my watch is much worst than just the chip pain on the dial. If you look at my picture and very marker are off center from number itself and that bothered me alot. As you can see my picture below every single stickmarker seats right blow the first letter of a number instead of the center of the whole number. I hope you see what i mean. Enjoy your watch.

RT - i though the advantage of going for a group buy is that we get cheaper price because we are buying in large quantity without any less in quality. Otherwise, what is the point of buying a lesser quallity watch when there is a better version out there. Your effort in this group buy is tremendousely appreciated and there is no doub about that i my mind. thank you

Actually there are more than the chip pain that is wrong with my watch. like rangers158 said: "Just another observation, the small numbering on the outer dial does not align with the stick markers. 60 is right above 2 of "12", all the rest are not centered. Mine (not from this group buy) does not have this problem. I also notice that there is another flaw with this model. The dial is slightly tilted anti-clockwise by a degree or two. Somehow visually it never look properly centered... Oh well... Reps are like that... silly annoyance..." that i totally agreed with. Eddie told me that he has no more iwc ing left but he could send me the replacement dial. I have not done anything on watch except resize bracelet and i have no tool at all. so the only choice for me is to return to Eddie for a refund. How easy is this to replace the dial? would new dial fix the off-center/alignment issue mentioned by rangers158 above? i need some advice folks.
