I'm just getting into this hobby.  I bought a rep Daytona about 5 years ago, and I've been very happy with the watch.  Still wear it quite often, but a lot of the reps Ive seen posted on this forum look quite nice and seem to be of a higher quality then my Daytona.  Just my two cents.  Thanks.

I'm very tempted to buy the ARF version, but wait for the Noob version to come out this year with 904L and clone of 7750 movement with all working subdials.

Let's hope it's this year!

 

Good to know. Anyone know how reliable the movement is on the ARF Daytona? As good as the JF with non-working chronos or crappy like the old 7750?

So far the general feedback seems to be that it is more reliable, perhaps because of the frozen 3 and 9 subdials. 

I've been puzzled why factories don't correct things that seem easy to correct.  Like the font on a datewheel, for example.   It's hard not to suspect that some flaws are built in on purpose as kernow suggests.  I read a post on one of the other forums that the factories make super reps that are very hard to distinguish from gens and they only sell those on the black market as supposed gens.  I have no idea if that is true, but it is certainly plausible.

This is correct. He is a probationary dealer on RWI, not a Trusted Dealer.  You can open a help ticket when RWI is back up.
