  1. Thanks. At RWG it's all about sharing and putting back to the community. I look forward to your first write-up.
  2. I'm going to have 10 of them coming in soon with some spare ST19 movements. Stay tuned.
  3. As an additional note...as you are definitely new to reps and their operation, please read my Noob Guide linked in my signature. It should get you up and running and answer most of the questions you have and provide knowledge you should get before going down the replica path route anymore. Welcome to RWG. We hope your stay is informative and fun.
  4. Well...good luck on the quest Lani. It's great to see the troops rallying up to help each other out. Great opportunity to photograph the vintage Rollie collection . Was it this watchsmith that had a pre-HEV DRSD?? I remember reading a thread on this.
  5. Another beautiful photo set Lani. This is a looker indeed.
  6. So now you're saying you won't even shake Dems' hands??
  7. Congrats on moving onto the next level of rep by going to the accuracy that can be found in the Tags vs. BRMs. There are some nice designs with the BRM, but because of proprietary movements...not overly-accurate. HOWEVER...they can still make some nice fun pieces if that's your style. PureTime is fine. Read the reviews in the member trade area from the main page and you'll see what people think. Precious Time is one of the main recommended dealers for the EU. Check out my Noob Guide for more info on starting out in the rep world.
  8. That's why I try to make all my comments and replies completely irrelevant, distracting, and BRILLIANTLY humorous (or nauseating...your choice...I'm easy). That way they fit in anywhere...first page, page 3...whatever.
  9. Lovin' the rice beads R!! Orange dial on rice beads bracelet...it's like a little Sake Sushi on the Wrist Check:
  10. Looks Good!! The V2 dial might not align with the slide rule...who knows...precision Chinese QC/QA might consistently make alignment mistakes within versions so the HackR's lines up...but mix and matching with another might not. I like it!!
  11. Welcome to RWG. As you are new to reps...I would say... RUN AWAY...RUN AWAY NOW!!! The watch you will get will NOT be the one in the pic. They are using a genuine catalogue pic. Buy from the trusted dealers in the dealers section on the main page, or there are some "unofficial" dealers you could consider as well that you will see recommended by various users on this forum. Read the Noob Guide in my signature to get started with your rep experience. There's lots to learn...be patient so you are aware of what you are buying, and your expectations are met. There is a bit of an art to choosing a dealer depending on what your demands for service are and where you are located. The watch pictured is not going to be very accurate as it uses a faux chrono movement that isn't a stopwatch but has calendar functions instead. The more accurate version is this one (dealer is recommended)...much more expensive though: Trusty's SLR A better cheaper version is this one (in quartz...not auto): Trusty's Quartz Their description is PRICELESS though: "The watch is not only behalf of watching the time, but also ornament, artwork and articles of luxury that showing the wealth, status and taste, for example swiss watches, Rolex watches, men's watches, and so on.. In Europe, every man has three watches on average.Especially, every man in England has eight watches on average. Meanwhile, these watches can match the different clothes and occasion. Maybe you will indicate your strength and wealth through the enormous diamond and thick necklace. But these ornaments don
  12. Word of warning...I tried searching for the post...but there was one by The Zigmeister some time back...maybe over 2 years so it might be out of date...but he was warning of problems on some dial swaps because the chapter ring or whatever you call the marked rehaut type ring off the dial was significantly thicker or thinner on the gen than the rep. This likely doesn't apply to the new breed of SA...but before diving into the purchase...try to do some studying and measuring if possible to ensure the fit seems logical.
  13. Senatorus Palinicus wearing a recent kill from Nanuq's Backyard
  14. Lani...that pic of your B&R is fantastic. The orange background works really well with the orange hand and the red lettering.
