  1. Had my Daylight on yesterday . I prefer the numerals of the 188 than those sub style markers My Mate had one , it was a very distinctive watch
  2. Amv8 just chill and enjoy the anticipation , and show us it when it lands
  3. There are lots of posts on this topic. You may be lucky an get good version. Basically the standard 7750 movement has the running seconds at the 9 o'clock position these though have the running secs at 6 o'clock. This has been enabled by the edition of some right dodgy cogs. The addition of the extra jewel May or may not be of use or real. I've seen members who have these and are fine where as others last a week. Apparently it's a good idea to hack it when it's not being worn. Good luck and keep us posted
  4. I hear you P153 , have had my fair share of sellers regret on a few. Good luck with DSN
  5. I'm not the best member to ask. I have always had good experiences with DSN. I would expect it to be a significant improvement on your current version. Drop him an email first to see if he still has them. Unfortunately it's the only option for now.
  6. Looks wonderful , certainly a rep classic
  7. Interesting dilemma that you've got yourself there. To be honest I don't know what the answer is , it's your choice. Many members love the chase for parts and the project nature of a build . It's hard to do a cost benefit analysis of buying something new or going on the modification journey. To get anywhere near to where your old EL might of been you'll be needing hands a decent Crown guard. Possibly a crown and maybe a better date wheel and crystal as well the case back . Then put it together. So a quick guess would be 200$ on parts and the $200 to put it together. I don't know what DSN charges for a new version but you might want to consider that as an option thought the Analisti on here would dismiss that and tell you to get. Hopno for $2000
  8. Angus at puretime http://www.puretime-asia.com/product/pam254-pendulette-da-table-in-teak-black-dial/
  9. I just re read your post It is just the different years of production . They move the Swiss Made every so often. Reps Older pre i series I series Gen P series E series 2002
  10. There are 2 versions of the 90 The cheaper seagull movement has a working PR. The downside is Date-wheel and Mag and there is a button pusher at 8 o'clock to change the date. The A7750 version is much higher quality and Gen like but just has a faux PR. I would get one of these and I would be quick because they've not been popular and I doubt they will be available for much longer. Be keen to hear what decision you make.
  11. Actually Toro has them on special http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=677 He also has one daylights on metal which are good value
  12. 299 from josh should sort you out http://www.p-cls.com/0pn299n01-299n-ssss-black-p-13317.html. Click twice
  13. They are great . Who needs CG's ? Post a wristie and review when you get it DC Bond and Puff seem to think they are cool to
  14. I know that there are some members here that can really see the difference and are really particular on the Noob v H and the M to N but i just don't get it or perhaps I'm just not as Analisti . As far as I can tell the 111s that have come out over the last few years have all been pretty awesome . Toro deals in Noobs and has been a good dealer to me. I'd stop worrying about the minute details & start to worry about getting a decent strap for it. Now thats important
  15. So whats your favourite ? Those YM haven't ever called to me in the past but yours has sparked my interest
  16. I think this post deserves a picture
  17. Enjoy , the first time is the best
  18. Buy a crystal from Davidsen or off of wholesalewatchoutleteripoff eBay. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=170831574314 Find a replica friendly watch smith locally to swap it out. Without pictures it's hard to see if it's Worth doing or not.
