1965 Sub 7928

On a Maratac NATO (the best most accurate NATO period, and most comfortable)...
Can't wait to get started on making another one of these dials!!!
Looks great! I think I have to get one of these NATOs for my 7928.

very nice one, perfect vintage beauty.
the bracelet is here, the clasp is not sooo perfect, but the quality of the rest is the best:

I think it's Gen
thanks all!
yes, all gen except the yuki 7206 brecelet (gen clasp though).

I just finished my gen '65 Tudor Sub
the movement received a full service, the plexi got a careful polish, new tube for the original twin lock crown, nice fat font insert.
pressure tested and from now on my daily watch

thanks.
tudor and rolex had the same inserts, should be no difference.
the bezel is fine, I think something sharp pressed into the insert.

I have a question. this insert is from a gen '65 Tudor Sub. is this insert also gen? and if "yes" or "no" - why?
thanks in advance :-)

I like Subs with tropics without cyclops. looks great!

Isn't that the wrong dial combo fr a 7016? Early 7016 having the rose dial then transition to the snowflake dial on all of the later 7016 until transition to the 9410? That dial looks like a service replacement or late 94100 (1980ish or later) . Same with the Lollipop sweep
I've seen several 7016 and 7928 with this dial layout. it looks like they were parallel with the rose dial.
7016 from 1970
7928 from 1973

well to be quite honest i was hoping to buy one of those cases thinking the problem with the rehaut had been resolved, but after seeing it and you confirming it was a yuki case that was bought 90 days ago i see that the problem persists despite others speculating to the contrary.
if you're talking about the shallow rehaut, I'm not too concerned, there are several gen cases with quite the same. mostly chapter ring 7928's. I always wanted to build such a 7928 CR but I'm still searching for a nice dial.

a yuki case i presume, how long ago did you get that case?
I bought it about 3 months ago directly from yuki.
Is there a certain reason for your question?
