Rep!
Noob dial I guess...so it should be a euromariner...
Anyway, really nice!
-
I should resist to buy a wm9! it's tempting!
-
???
Do you want a new bezel and a new insert?
Which seadweller? Modern or vintage?
-
What the ?!
Well, I am reluctant to admit but.....it looks GOOD
Hell of a watch!
-
@ midasmook
That is a nice combo!!!
Maybe I should buy a SFSO
-
is that a gen eta it looks a little odd?
It has written "2836-1"
Maybe the chinese run out of "-2"
Weird anyway...
-
The Clark's hands are supposed for the gen. movement or they actually have the ETA version?
Eta I guess. I'm wondering how good the lume is...
-
Pete, your frankens are always great! Fantastic!
Can we have a lume shot? I'm wondering how good the aftermarket hands are...
Thanks!

Looks like I do have a few parts in the box...I'm only missing hands:
God....this dial.... I can't wait to see the finished product!
I wish I could build one of these (with V72) one day...
Congrats!

I tried the 2009 demo for xbox360....indeed it is better than the 2008.
Still undecided if I should buy it or not...
Maybe I'll download the "free" pc version and play some matchs...
-
The case back does say 16800 on the inside and appears to be very deep- unusually so??
Bad Engraving maybe....Hand made I guess....
Anyway, it's a very interesting item...

I have the same problem with the old gmtII. I guess it's a gmt gear's issue, but I had not take it apart yet.
Maybe some expert who have had (and solved) the same problem could chime in.

Enjoy the first sub of your sub collection

It looks nice...

What with this, the SE music phones, the iPhone, etc, I'm surprised the iPod still exists...!
The touch feature looks crap (iphone is a way better) and the symbian is slow....but for that price is a bargain! 8 gb! gps!
If it gets out at 279

The open font silver datewheel is

If you perform few mods like gen crown, trimming the cgs and removing the engravings on the rehaut, you'll have a very nice rep
Congrats for the gen!
-
Man, what can I say? I'm happy for you. Congratulations!
P.S. You can't stop buying Rollies, you know it.... Who'll be the next?
-
What position was the crown in when you removed the stem (winding, GMT/date setting or time-setting)?
All other hands working properly. It was on time-setting, like I always done. Did I do something wrong?
I'll try to remove the hands...
Thanks!
-
Well, I thought WHS 2836-2 were good....but mine had a problem just popping in-out the stem.
Before, it was working brilliantly! Then, I removed the stem, popped in back again and....what?
The GMT hand isn't moving! Stuck! (when following the hours hand)
If I set it backwards, it moves; Then if I try to set the time, it got stucked again.
I won't buy (touch) a chinese mod anymore.
My advice would be to find someone who's brave enough to service this kind of mod.
Swapping with another 2836-2 could be expensive: does the watch worth it?
Is it a noob gmt? gen parts?
-
It's not that bad...
Maybe if it accepts gen dial....we can use it for the 14060

Men, it's faster than firefox3 and it uses less ram!
Awesome browser is awesome

Speechless
It's terrific!

On the SSD you have to enlarge the rep insert's hole a little bit, but it could work!
I did the same on my SSD, but I used an aftermarket pearl.
So I guess it's the same for the noob. gen/aftermarket pearls should be bigger than rep pearl.
The pearl is slightly off center, but you can't notice easily...
If you are so nit-picking, go for the gen insert.
Like alligoat said, sand down the insert (a little bit), so it will fit without problems.
Yay! New Top Gear
