  1. While I am mostly a traditional guy craving for known brands who never cared about Hyseks, uboats, lum-tecs, tw-steels and the like i have to admit i am falling in love with Linde Werdelin offerings, just look:

Hot! Wonder if they plan on doing these in our beloved CN-land!

They also would look great on a female wrist. :)

  2. Aneki asked for help by buying this dial. Seller told him it is a gen dial, I told him it is a rep dial. Why? See the pics.

The dial that was offered to Anekia as a gen dial:

Looking good doesn't it, allmost like the gen.

Now you pics of the gen on the left and "Aneki's" dial on the right

The quarter cut "12" at the 12 o'clock position reveal more on the rep as compared to the gen.

Under the 11 and 1 o'clock markers you see on the gen 1 lign marker, while the rep has two

The quarter cut "6" at the 6 o'clock position reveals a little more on the rep as compared to the gen in my opinion.

Again the ligns under the 5 and 7 o 'clock markers are different.

Gen on top, rep on the bottom:

  3. Watchmaking literature mentions a patent filed by Karl Scheufele I, the founder of Eszeha, the original Scheufele family company, who is today the proud owner of Chopard. The patent is about a 1912 ingenious system allowing a pocket-watch to be worn on the wrist.

The 2010 limited edition version of this innovative watch "enshrines a century and a half of Chopard's horological heritage" and is obviously both a pocket-watch and a wristwatch, a fitting tribute to Louis-Ulyssse from the Chopard watchmaking family.

  4. Excellent, excellent review.

This review deserves more attention (I'm guessing it's "hiding" in an obscure subforum, thus... the slow response).

Moved temporarily to General Discussion. I'll move it back to TAG Area or the "Other watch reviews" area. Let me know where you want it then.

From now on the newest high profile reviews like this can be kept in General Discussion so they won't get "lost" from the members.

PS: If I didn't have the white dial Panda Discovery, I probably would have bought this one. Very classy.

Thnk you master of reviews, just place it in the area what you think is best. :)
