Hey there, just picked up elprimerozen's 1680 MBW. Watch has quite a few mod's already done on it including gen insert and tropic. I've already ordered a gen crown & tube. Question concerns the braclet. Also, just asking if you prefer the steel oR the NATO look for this classic piece. Hope all is well with everyone across the world!

Thanks for the input...although buffalo gen strap for breitling goes for upward $300. I might just get both, who knows. Your right...addiction is contagious around these parts, especially with these great reviews by those like ByTor. Is there another first Omega you would recommend over the 45mm?

Hey Great!!! Thanks for the tip, I found a 22mm one for the same price. Heck, its almost the price of the watch but I have found gen straps to really make a piece. Here, check out what the blue bufalo strap does to my Navi Fighter. Picked this up from a member on the board. I recently put AR on it, it really helped it out as well. I'm not too all familiar with Omega's. I've read the reviews and filtered through some old posts...seem to me the 45mm is the way to go. Anyone want one last chance to talk me into another model? Keep in mind this is my first Omega and could make or break me Thanks for the replies everyone!

Hello all, I finally decided to give in and go for my FIRST Omega. 45mm seems to be a must for me. I have plenty of stainless watches so I'm thinking of putting the rubber strap on this piece. Any suggestions? I found one on Ebay for around $179. Not bad for what a gen strap for a Breitling cost me. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I said this is my first omega. Guess I'm going with Trusty's ETA Ultimate version. Will wait a day or so before I order in case there is something you kind folks would like to give me a heads up on. As the subject says, just making sure I'm getting the correct crown for my TT MBK. It is the 7mm one correct? Anything els I need to be aware of? I have not held a genuine, was also wondering if I should get a genuine date wheel. Mine has not arrived yet, but I'm sure there are others who have recently picked up this watch. Thanks! Although no SS band, thought you might want to see the "Fighter" The date window is obviously small as there are other typical flaws. But with a gen strap and AR, who cares. This is the subdial setting those above are referring to.

Hello all, I recently received two Noobs in the mail, one for me and one for a friend. I know every rep is different and not all come out of the factory the same. The watches are very similar, however I noticed a difference in the size of the pearls. Below is 2 shots of both of them side by side, then 2 shots of each. If you guys could give me some pointers on which to keep I'd appreciate it. Also, if you recommend that I do something that is a major feel free. No bar and no hurt feelings, shoot away. How do you know if these phones will work with your particular GSM company (i.e. Cingular, T-Mobile) here in the US? Are they just GSM unlocked phones? Any idea how much these things costs?

He officially has it in hand, I must say the customer service on his end has been phenomenal so far. I really could not ask for one more thing for him to go out of his way for. I will post pics when I get it in, will be several weeks considering he has to return home before he ships out. Just wanted to give a heads up and say his service to this point is tremendous.

Hey, did you get AR done on your black Navi? It no, still "love it" with lack of AR? I love the black gen, but have been leaning towards white rep, but the World version. What are your thoughts based on your watch? Black safe with no AR compared to white? Or if you have gotten AR done, what did you pay? $55? or about? thanks
