What a small world, that's my watch! I started out collecting gen Omega's and since I have found this site my reps are quickly out numbering my gens. It's an awsome watch, but sadly it's spends more time on the winder than on the wrist. I agree, the 008 is perfect! I'm wearing mine now. I was at the Torneau shop in Vegas last week and tried on the gen 008 and the Carbon flyback and the 008 is spot on. I think the gen was $8,000 and the Carbon Flyback was $10,000!

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I sent the watch back for "repairs" and the seller has already sent the watch back (in transit). I will wait to see how it comes back before making any judgments on service. I can understand that some flaws will make it throgh QC (if there really is any). I want to see if the sellers makes it right as I have bought several reps with no problems. I'll let you know how it comes back. Regards, Andreas

amo, Thanks for the clarification. I think I can live with the difference. I tried the gen on at a local store $8K retail, but they said they would let me have it for $6500. It's an awsome watch and is heavy enough to double as a weapon if you ever need it. Andreas

amo, What is the "very distinct visual difference" you are talking about? I studied the dial against the rep (pictures) and it looks spot on. What am I missing? Andreas

I have been eyeing the new Bentley 6.75 and have a few questions. I have been unable to find a close up pic of the rep date window and wanted to know if the date wheel is offset as far of the dial face as on some other reps. Does anyone have pics of the "new" version with the revised correct maroon colored date wheels? Otherwise this rep looks pretty damn nice! Any other flaws I should know about? Thanks for your help! Hello Everyone, I need your help,I want to know if I'm being too picky. I just received my Railmaster XXL and noticed a few flaws that are enough to bother me, but I want to know if I am expecting too much from these reps. The first problem is on the dial, specifically the lume on the 9 oclock marker, it looks as thought there is a few clumps of dirt in the lume: The second is the Omega markings on the back of the movement. They are all crooked: Sorry for the poor pics, but I don't have phote skills of many of the experts here. I appreciate everyones opinion here as this is an invaluable resource and I want to know if you think I should send this watch back and as for a replacement. Thanks for your help! Regards, Andreas

Ok, I have been lurking here for the last few weeks trying to gather as much info to make my fist purchase. This forum is an awsome place for a noob like myself! The watch I really want is the Panerai Ferrari Scuderia 0008 Chrono and the question I have is I have seen it on two sites for $328 and one site has it for $255 (I hope I am allowed to post prices). Are these the same watch? Are they coming from the same factory? I have seen others post this question, but nobody seems to have a straight answer. Can anyone reccomed a dealer? Thanks for your help!
