  1. Cheers, to answer the questions...

My wrist is about 6.25" to 6.5" depending on how hot I am!!! But I wear the watch slightly loose, probably 7".

Watch supplied by King, no problems at all with him, 7 day postage as requested but he will also do courier if required.

  2. Thanks guys I really love it, and my Skyland is not getting any use at all :-(

Anyone want a nearly new Skyland with grey face... going going...

Everything about this watch is so nice,

    extra wide strap,

detailed face with high gloss finish

    slim gold hands,

    raised steel markers,

    radial rings in subdials,

    applied crest on clasp,

    functioning slide rule,

And best of all 47mm !!!!! but it does not feel like it on my relatively small 6.25" wrist.

If your stuck for an idea on your next rep.... be sure to give this one a shot, you wont be sorry.

  3. Just posted these over on RG, thought I'd share them heer also....

The strap was stiff at first but some oil and a workout soon made it feel like silk....

This watch is really impressive, the pics don't do it any justice at all.

And the datewheet issue is a minor IMO cos the rest makes up for it.

  4. Maybe the rep purchase will cure me of the gen craving but i'm not so sure about that, might only make it stronger.

Perhaps the rep will only serve as verification that the Skyland is the Gen for you.

I'm seriously looking at a Gen Skyland now that I've had this Rep.

Once you've had the Rep for one for a while you WILL start looking at gen Skylands at you local AD... it's just matter of time. ;)

  5. I hope you get it soon XWORD, let me tell you it's well worth the wait.

I've only had this watch since Friday and already I've had several complements, no other rep ever did that.

It makes me wish I had a Gen instead of a Rep, it's very hard to break the bad news to people, and I'd never try claim it was Gen, no matter how good a Rep it is.

  6. I see what you mean Toad, thanks for the tip.

I've only had this on for a few hours but It's definitely the most comfortable Breitling I've yet owned.

Can't see myself going back to the Steel Bracelet, at least not for a long time...

I never noticed it in photos before, but the brushed bezel really sets this watch off, and the white numbers really work well with the white stitching on the Croc.

Now all it needs is a re-lume job....

Nice...yup...so far the brown strap is my fave. Scrape off the overlapped latex on the inside portion (light brown) of the strap, as skin contact will rub it off and mess up the inside. I just used my fingernail.

    Lookin' good...and congrats!!

  7. Just received my V3 Skyland from Peter....

Excellent service and super rep, lume dots are as good as I've seen in recient posts.

Only the #4 is slightly off it's marker, .... I'm very happy.

And I'm just loving the brown croc leather, can't stop looking at it... :o

    Some shots...

  8. Having done some quick research...

    http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=56086&st=0

And then reading the makers web site: http://www.rctritec.com/index.php?id=8

I'd say it best to get it done prefessionally unless you have a good supply of watches to learn on, and even then it's going to take a LOT of time.

By the way, the flat lume dots on the Gen is applied with a stencil and wipe process, not possible to do this in the after-market.

  9. Looks like a great job, I've ben looking at gen's for months and never niticed they had flat lume dots.

    Don't worry about it.

Besides, how could anyone apply flat lume dots, it's a viscus substance and would naturally blob with surface tension.

I'm really keen to give this a try myself, where can I get the super-lume paint...anyone please?

  10. Problem identified...

I used an alternate email address to sed my 3rd mail and I received an almost immediate reply.

    Skyland on the way ^_^

It must be something to do with SPAM filtering, either his or my end...

I've heard from him within 36 hours for my last 3 emails and placed another order with confirmation this morning.

If you haven't heard in 3 days, it might be your email address got filtered out in a spam filter on his end. Try sending from another email address. These guys get tonnes of emails every day, so it's possible one got sent accidentally in a junk box.

You can also try sending him a PM through here (RWG) telling him your emails from 3 days ago haven't been returned.
