WOW - Compared to this, reps look shabby I have to say. The gen is SOOOO clean and crisp. I'm starting to doubt if reps will ever get that close. Nice watch man, enjoy.

Looking at the image below the issue seem to be the thickness of the new DW. It will need to be thin enough, even thinner than the top plate of the mod. I have not seen a DW, but it looks to be a plastic sheet stuck on top of a metal ring. If the plastic insert could be removed, then it might be strong enough to support itself on top of a spacer ring. Anyone familiar enough with a DW to know if this is the case?

Great, so all I need is the following: 1x "incorrect" date wheel- any suggested source, someone mentioned lello above? 1x sutiable spacer ring, may have to improvise here and might also have to semi-glue it with something sticky but not impossible to remove. This will be the hard part so any suggestions will be really appriciated.... Also, has anyone estimated the clearance ? We can't have the new DW rubbing agains the back of the face. Thanks...

I'm prepared to try it out on my legende.... Just point me to a date wheel, don't care if it's not a perfect font match, it will pass 99% of inspections.

Anyone who cracks this problem is due huge cudos and the mod should be named after him (or her).

Dial is 47mm, but does not feel like it, feels and looks very well.

Ok Folks, this is pritty much a cut and paste of my post over on RG... Photos alone can't convey just how good this watch is... Most photos seem dull and flat, but this watch is far from it. My advice is to forget about the rep leather, they look great for the first few months but then the finish starts to ware off and your left with a black mark (ok if ou have the black leather buy not so nice with a brown strap). A genleather (buckle type is cheapest) will last you years, heck it might even outlast the rep watch!!! Other option is a Ocean Racer, now thats a nice looking strap on te Skyland.

WOW nice one Dave. The wide bracelet at the head gives the GMT a better balance that the SA. I've always thought that the SA and Skyland needed a wider bracelet, the heads are so big.
