I'll need to have a cream bezel too.
What do you mean by 'cream bezel'? The bezel is supposed to be stainless steel.

It's a chunky watch but fits my wrist nicely i think your opinions are welcome.
Thanks for posting this. The shots look really good.
How big are your wrists?

Finally ask for the Chipolte Southwest sauce............enjoy
Can Subway do Fancy Sauce instead?
-
They already made a Montoya rep. It was terrrible.
-
The gen is 42mm, but looks bigger than other ROOs because of the larger pushers.
-
If they used a gen RBII to make the replica, they didn't do a very good job. A gen RBII on the second hand market is around $35k. I suppose they could have dismantled it, repped it, and then re-assembled and re-sold it. The problem there is that the end-buyer would have a very expensive watch with a voided warranty.

I think TommyB asks a very good question.
-
Might be getting heat from H? I've seen a bunch of dealers creating separate sites for Hublot stuff due to legal issues, etc.
It would be ironic if Hublot tried to take action against people who infringed AP's intellectual property rights.
-
Yes but the risk tof completely dismantling the watch for repping purpose than re-assemble is a big risk to take for such an expensive watch!
I agree. For such an expensive watch, with a voided warranty, I don't think resale is an attractive option. Even if you asked AP to service it, it would take them 6-12 months and they'd probably charge a few thousand dollars, depending on how bad the rep manufacturers screwed up the parts.

How about a 43,200 bph Breguet 5347 double tourbillon, with each beating at 21,600? Yours for 300,000 Euros.
The new Jules Audemars uses a new AP escapement which (properly) beats at 43,200 bph (6 Hz) and requires no lubrication. 56 hours power reserve. Estimated retail $266,200 (approx 200,00 Euros)

shouldn't be difficult to rep........
That means we are guaranteed the rep manufacturers will screw it up.
-
Hope you scrapped the old factory lume off before applying the new SL to the under disc.
How important is it to do this?
ps. great post, goin.

because I have received 2 clocks, the first model white subdial blu is navy, the second model blue subdial white is Porto Cervo.
Thanks for clearing that up. Could you post a picture of the Porto Cervo caseback? As far as I'm aware, AP did not release publicity shots of the caseback. I'm interested to see whether the rep makers put a standard caseback on it or something different.
-
These are just the pics of the new AP Offshore that I have received today
Why does the new watch you received today have blue subdials in some of your pictures and white subdials in your other pictures?
-
Amazing watch. Not sure if it deserved yet another thread though.
-
Does it blow itself up?

Anyone know the technical specifications of the AR coating they propose to use?
It would be useful to see how it compares to the top of the range coating that chieftang uses.

Welcome to the forum Michael. It's great that you are in the UK

Sorry about the bad news.
Don't mean to hijack the thread but here is an example of one species caring for another (and will hopefully cheer people up):

Craig wasn't even interested in describing his favorite drink, pawning the "chore" off on the waitor.
To be fair, he was drunk in that scene.

She also has American citizenship so that would make Obama her president as well.

Anyone else finding this a problem with the cost of watches now? They are becoming expensive IMHO!
TomH
Tell me about it.
I wanted to pull the trigger on a gen pre-owned RO Chrono last week, but it's around 30% more expensive in pounds than it would have been 6 months ago.

I saw it on Friday. Good movie and I especially liked the scene at the very end. I thought the gadgets (i.e. the wall and table screens) were a little bit over done, although I suppose in 10 years they will look dated. I agree that the title song was rubbish.

Very nice Fortis, spikey. Good purchase.
I'm back and present my latest acquisition, one of the best AP's ever made! Lot's of pics.

Edgematic, great watch! Can you turn on your messanger please? I tried to PM you but it didn't work.
