  1. First we had Dubya, who pioneered the use of the "internets". And now Intel seems to be using the "full internet". I suppose the next technological evolution will be the "full internets".

I would like to see how the Google performs on the full internets, on the iPhone.

  2. They the makers of the super reps have not done a attempt on a scuba to this day.

    Cheers

I agree, but we were talking about how easy it would be to rep it from the pictures alone. Dadog thinks it wouldn't be a problem. Do the makers of the super reps ever rep from pictures alone? I thought they always bought the real deal and repped it from that.

  3. I would go for the 3717 (for the reasons stated above), although I'd be careful about which version you get. Apparently the current reps aren't as good as the ones that EL was selling when it first came out in early 2007. I have one from EL and it's superb.

  4. I have personally worked with five different special operations organizations from around the world and the Australians and Canadians stand out, as well as our own SOF (but I'm in the latter organization so I'm biased, of course).

I think we may have served together - I was part of the special ops team that helped Austin Powers take out Dr Evil. I was also offered Secret Service Presidential Protective Detail, but I let Clint Eastwood have it because he was slightly better qualified (he's also been a cowboy and a cop).

  5. Newer model (I think starting with the "F" series) Rubberclads with the in-house movement (3126) have a black date window surround.

I am speculating that the AR on the datewindow also started with the G-series ROOs.

The latest Rubberclads appear to still use the AP caliber 2326, although the 3126 will follow. Maybe towards the end of the G series or perhaps in the H series. I believe the AR coating on the cyclops began sometime in the F series, not G.

  6. While I think he adopted the wrong attitude when he came in here, I think it is entirely understandable why it happened. Many of the things that he was being accused of doing apparently he has not done. Not one person has said, "sorry dude, maybe we exaggerated a bit/had incomplete information/misunderstood." He came into a thread where some pretty nasty things were being said, including that he should be banned without so much as hearing his side of the story.

He could have diffused the situation by being very humble and apologetic. But his response, while not the one I would have had, is not outside of the realm of normal human reaction given the circumstances.

He has apologized yet still we insist on goading him. I am at a loss to understand what this will achieve.

I agree with everything you have said above.
