  1. I have see many scam (obviously) sites, to have de grisogono watches.

They have photoes from the original watches...

Any trusted dealer to offer de grisogono watches??

Seen one on a non-RWG-tusted sellers site, but it looked rubbish so I guess its not a scam but not a good repica

  2. hahaha thanks I like her too!!!

Of course your right about the "common sense to get at least a bit informed before you buy something like a rep watch from a market dealer, or isn't it" but I kind of know the feeling of being on vacation and finding a market stall of exotic watches or other overpriced stuff (although I always try to at least half the price, with variable outcomes) and you just get carried away, I think if the new owner uses the watch for a good few years never finds out its true value and in general enjoys the "overpriced" watch then 120 Euro is ok... I'm sure Milton Friedman could have written a book on that one store supply and demand and free markets etc... (of course Friedman would be on the side of the store keeper)...

  3. so he's still making profit at 35, that's for sure. Dunno how many stupid tourists buy those crappy reps for 150 euros... %7Boption%7D]

Well I don't think they are stupid at all... just don't know the market, If you don't know the market then its just ignorance... Before I came here I bought a few canel street reps for about $40 a pop back in the early 00's... which to be honest was ok, the watch never died on me and quality was good (although after visiting this site have come to see so many aesthetic differences that its pretty funny). But all in all where can you by a Automatic watch, with good quality finish (sometimes a Rolex box), good links, that runs for what seems forever, and fools friends at the same time?

I still have one or two of my first canal street buys and they are solid beaters for around $40 not bad I would say? And to be honest if I hadn't stumbled on this site I'd still be very happy with them

  4. My question is how many are product placements? and how many are actually bought by the actor or wardrobe department?

Its like Volvos I always seem to see one in most movies I watch.... weird car to appear so much in a movies (keep an eye out for them you'll see them pop up in all kinds of movies)?

  5. I got this little number a few months back... from get this, a guy from Mexico with zero feedbacks, I guess that why it was pretty cheap every one else was too scared to bid on it! But of course he turned out to be legit (very nice guy aswell) and more than happy with the watch!

  6. wow great mastrmind... thanks,

but from what I gather "The Project X Limited Edition Collection feature exclusive in-house designed watch customizations, which take inspiration and pay homage to the classic watch designs of the past, such as the James Bond / Military Submariners, and manual wind Daytonas."

So all they do is stick a nato starp and paint a green cross on the face?!?!

opppsss they do a little more lol

The Project X Designs PXD SS1 customisation pays homage to the James Bond Submariners of the 1950s & Military Submariners of the 1970s. The PXD SS1 features:-

    SATIN finished Stainless Steel Case

    No Crown Guards

    No Cyclops

Bezel Insert changed from Green to Black

Spring Loaded Fixed Bars (Reversible. The original bracelet is included)

Enamelled Caseback engravings (With X Logo + Issue #)

Green "X" logo on the dial

Grey G10 NATO strap with Black PVD fittings

  7. HI all,

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this:

    http://www.watcheden.com/rolex-sea-dweller-with-swiss-eta-2836-movement-polizia-di-stato-sommozzatori-limited-edition-i-37811-p-1.html

lol even though I said to me self I wouldn't buy another rep, this is the last one I promise. But what puts me off is the Helium Release Valve looks too dark is this in keeping with this super rare original?

Looked on the net but can't find any pictures of the org.'s valve, so perhaps you have some ref in a book or personal knowledge?? and what are you thoughts on the general build of the rep??

    Thank so much!!!
