  1. You can always say you bought them "used abroad". That kills any chance of doubt. Some friends already know I'm "very" into watches (not compared to thousands of other members here) and that I participate in a watch forum. Not reps not gens, just watch forum... so a simple "I bought it used over the net" would do also. Sometimes a simple "it's a fake" and a wink works too... the "fell off a truck" one get lots of laughs but if someone goes on, any of the above works like a charm.

So every one of the above are true, and you won't lie to anyone.

    good luck, compadre.

    salud!

    Where you from Chino?

  2. Hi,

Going on Holiday with my girl friend to Maui & Las vegas having a car at both places (we are in Europe) and was wondering seeing as you guys all seem to be seasoned travelers if you had any cool things to do there? we got a shot list of some things that we have planed.. perhaps you can add to them?

Maui (relaxing half of the vacation),

    Hiking over the volcano

    a half day fishing trip

    a plane tour

    some swimming

    Las Vegas (more exciting),

    Gran Canyon

what to visit a ghost town (no idea where to find one but i've heard their are a few in nevada)

    sky diving

    another plane tour

some but not too much roulette etc...

    Drive to some national parks

    any other ideas?

    Thanks

  3. Hi all, I've recently been getting asked the question from a work mate, "Wow nice watch!" when I came in wearing my Tag Aquaracer chrono, and then another "Wow" from my Superocean heritage and fianlly a third "wow" when I came in with my Rolex GMT ceramic and finally got asked the question "where the hell are you getting all these watches from I'm getting paid like 4 times what you get and can't even think about getting a Rolex?!?!" I've only just got out of college and while I have a real Omega Seamaster (gift from Dad) it must seem kind of strange for a young guy to have so many nice watches. All be it the originals are not Super expensive a collection of my 5 decent Reps plus original Omega might rake up about $12,000 USD of original watch value... I brushed off the question with "ahh you know i like watches" kinda of thing and back to work... Dreading when I get yet another watch that i'll just have to bring in to work with me!

So when you get asked the question how do you reply?

Thanks for you time and your replies!
