projectologist Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I finally bought a strap made by ABP-Paris without having to pay the price to have it made. I found it @ paneristi used less 50%. I always wanted to try one on to see what all the fuss was about. Gotta say they are very well-made and the hides are beautiful. 26/24mm...
dluddy Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 I saw that one and almost jumped on it. Gorgeous strap Robert
projectologist Posted June 26, 2009 Author Report Posted June 26, 2009 I saw that one and almost jumped on it. Gorgeous strap Robert There's another one listed similar to mine in 27mm, can't remember the length, but it is quite gorgeous too.
jeff g Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Sweet strap. Pams can be all about the combo. Nice.
projectologist Posted June 26, 2009 Author Report Posted June 26, 2009 Sweet strap. Pams can be all about the combo. Nice. You are absolutely right! I've never owned another brand that could be so easily enhanced with a simple srap change. Probably why this collector has so many to choose from...
pizzanooo Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Looks great, I have a python from them as well. Their special tanning on gators have a very unique look.
savage_here Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Are these seriously $480 directly from ABP??? Wow. Savage
projectologist Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Are these seriously $480 directly from ABP??? Wow. Savage This one was $480 with s/h, but it was a bit over-spec'd compared to what I would probably order. Everything at their site is custom order... width, taper, thickness, stitch, stitch color, hide, where on the hide, where the scales line up, cut edge/rolled edge, type of padding, exact thickness taper, finish and hole placement.
earlgrey-erfurt Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Looks PERFECT See it on GTG in September? cheers Helmut
