HolyMoly Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Hi everyone, a mate just gave me the following watch as a gift for fixing his broken computer: Link to Picasa-Pictures I haven
jot9011 Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 It was a nice gesture from your friend...but this is quartz replica. Indicators: It's all wrong. Branding is wrong. Chrono pushers in wrong position. Biggest tell would be the non-sweeping second hand. GEN pic for comparison
LapTime Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Definitely a Replica. The genuine version looks like this... Yours looks like it has a quartz movement, where the gen has an automatic chronograph. One of the quickest tells on a Monaco rep is to look at the subdials (size, markings, spacing...). Hope that helps! Good trade for fixing a computer, nonetheless.

yodap Posted July 5, 2009 Report Posted July 5, 2009 It's a bit old thread, but yes it's automatic. Check the indicators! It has faux chronos.
