Sparty
I'd like to pick up a toy for the weekend to tool around in. I would prefer something fast as I've always had fast toys, but I would be open to other suggestions. What suggestions do you guys have for ideally a budget of $15k and under? Being born in Detroit, I've always been partial to American muscle, particular GM (unfortunate, I know...). I've wanted an F-Body for the longest time and thought about getting a last generation WS6 Trans Am. I'm currently looking at a 2002 Trans Am, black on black with only 18k miles, original owner. Something similar to this:

Sweattdogg
I like that T/A. Fast, reliable, and cheapish. Do you have a garage/tool/ability to wrench? If yes to all those you have a whole bunch of options.

If yes to all those you have a whole bunch of options. Unfortunately not. I live in a condo in the city. Just a parking garage. I know where you are going with this. There are a ton of options to make it stupid fast. Good thing about the LS1 is that it's nearly bullet proof and cheap to mod. I'd be up for finding a modded TA too. The only reason I am considering a stock one is the simple fast is that it only has 18k miles on it.

Sparty
are you looking for 1/4 mile stuff, tracking (auto-x/etc) or just cruising? To be honest, not much 1/4 stuff. I've never been a fan of the track really. Just going fast when I cruise.
