concepta
Would you pay 1K for a genuine brand new AP ROO dial+handset? (considering this is a 15K watch) You think the rep dial is good enough??

specialvat
Would depend on model for me and how much work the case will need to make the dial fit, but 1K is alot of money

ubiquitous
For the right project, the dial, tachy ring and hands could be very useful. Say, for a project using the right DD module
rosnik
IMO: On white APROO, Rep dial is better than Gen . This lume apart, that you can get upgrade (Gen like) from a profy luminova-man .

(considering this is a 15K watch) You think the rep dial is good enough?? Why buy a genuine dial? Buy a replica. We all know that prices of spare parts AP are too high for a rubber bezel call 700, 100 for a mesh of 15202, 3000 euros for a complete overhaul .... prices are crazy for big players and manager. Seadweller4000
Well the problem with the DD module is that you will have to replace it on every service. It cannot be repaired or serviced. (That's at least what my watchsmith tells me.)
Watchmeister
Marcus' watch is a work of art. I know what lengths he went to in making it. Now I am experimenting with seconds at 12 and seconds at 9 cases and gen and rep dials and inner bezels to see what works. They all will require case work and a new movement ring work to allow the movement to sit properly and align the pushers and the lowered crown. My MBW-based original franken is long redone and gone - here are a couple of pics. Now I am on to the next experiments to see if any other combination works. I am hoping to have something intelligent to say in a couple of weeks though.

sander
The problem is that the gen dial won't fit the rep (sec at 12) movement because of the date window. Unless you have a gen movement for it, I would never pay 1K for it. just my 2 cents!
