Coeuss Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Bill Yao has finally done it. http://www.mkiiwatches.com/WSWrapper.jsp?m...e=le_tornek.htm His FF homage is slightly cheaper at 850usd
vlydog Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Is there more than one photo on the TR page. I followed your link but there was only one picture. Scrolling down there was just a lot of black space.
deltatahoe Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 one interesting tidbit from the page is that this "first series" of the watch will be limited to 10-15 pieces. @coeuss, do you know how long this watch has been available / this page has been up? i'd be curious see if they take down the ordering option after they get 10-15 purchases... they also mention that after the first series, a limited amount will be released each year. i'm wondering if they will change the dial in the subsequent series or if they will simply release a certain amount of the same watch each year....who knows how many "a limted amount" means, but interesting nonetheless. anyways, just some random thoughts i had. also, i just saw these two posts on WUS, which makes me think i may not have made the cut on the first 10-15 pieces one can always hope though deltatahoe
Coeuss Posted July 20, 2009 Author Report Posted July 20, 2009 It was just posted yesterday. U still have time I believe.
vlydog Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 I emailed Bill Yao today. This was the response: The TR isn't going to be a limited edition piece but the first batch will be unique with the next edition being different in several other non firm ways. This batch will only be 10-15 pieces. The TR that will be later released will be a standard piece of the collection.
