customs charging uk

Hi members

Just wondering if anybody has had any problems with packages stuck in customs(2 days now) .My previous items (april/may)cleared customs within 12 hrs.

I have had items sit in customs for 7 days, and sometimes they are released within a few hours, totally random....

I recently had a parcel going to the UK that was charged fees; odd as that had never happened to me before.

For what it's worth, the parcel cleared fairly quickly otherwise...
