Buying a 42mm PO rep in USA

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought the only dealers in the US were WBK and Sead (?).

Second, I read that none of the reps come with true ETA mvmts any more (?).

Continue to research to make sure you get what you order.

It seems a lot of folks here have learned the hard way ('been there too).

Looking for advice on where to purchase a quality replica of a 42mm PO in USA. Would this website be a good and trustworthy place to buy from? Link Seems like a quality rep from the pictures. Thanks!

The 45MM version is a much better rep than the 42MM as you will probably read on the boards. I have owned both a 42MM and 45MM in both rep and gen and it is a fairly significant difference in accuracy. Not that the 42 is terrible, but it will require more work to be as accurate as the 45MM. At least unless something has changed in the last few months I have been away from the board...

you are correct RG. I love my UPO. I think it is a perfect size, but my wrist is 7.25. before you begin to mod, go to a AD and try on both. also think about your strap/bracelet. steel bracelet is different than rubber which is different to a nato, which is different to a leather strap.

good luck and keep us informed of your choice :)

just make sure, order GEN crown and tube for the UPO from Ofrei, its around 50$.... trust me, its worth it!! then get a modder to install the new parts....and you have a nice watch. the rep crown/tube are notorious for the thread to break.

...I just noticed we have another "Rob G" here.

@robbnj be careful where you use that signature it might draw confusion and dismay that there might actually be TWO RobbieG's floating around here now.

Hey, maybe you could be my stunt double and take the hard knocks for me?

Maybe I'll have to sign my posts "Rob G, Not Robbie G."!

Then again, your posts are pretty easily distinguished from mine by your knowledge of the rep subject.

Hey, if anyone doesn't like something you've said, just point the finger at me!

Rob G., Not Robbie G.
