Vac has my UPO and is adding a lot of Gen parts for me: crown, tube, HE valve, dial, hands. Also servicing, aligning the bezel, waterproofing, Chief's AR. I read about Ubi's mod on his PO and he also added a gen datewheel. Vac has had mine now for a few months and I didn't have it long before I sent it to him to Frankenize (is that a word?), so I don't remember what the rep datewheel looked like. So the question is, does it make sense to add a gen datewheel (if available) too, or is the rep datewheel acceptable? If it's a mod I should also do, any suggestions on where to get the datewheel (Ofrei?)? Thanks for your help with this. Hopefully I'll have my baby back home in 3-4 weeks! Wayward Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 Ubi's right, see if you can get Vac to take a pic as many of the UPO's already have good datewheels...Mine came from Andrew with a good datewheel so the mod was not required.
