onezero
I posted this in another section but this is probably the more appropriate place for it. As per the title - I bought an Assioma off Joshua and can't adjust the bracelet size. I bought a watch tool kit and tried the pin removal tool and it gets stuck half way so I dont want to force it anymore for fear of breaking the bracelet. Has anybody adjusted one of these. Tell me how! Pics attached - The Bracelet (note thats where the pin gets stuck, I havent used excessive force to push it through though) - The tools I have -
Rolexman
It's probably the same sleeve/ pin construction as many Omegas use. Inside the bracelet (in the middle) there's a sleeve which holds the pin due to 2 pressure point. I specially made a tool for this sort of pain the ass bracelets. Take you smallest jeweler screwdriver en grind it until it fits into the hole of the bracelet. Than grind it just a little bit smaller so it also fit's into the sleeve in the middle of the barcelet. Yes, it will be a very very thin screwdriver/ pin, so be carefull and take your time. If you managed to make it just put it in the hole and give it some firm hits with a hammer. Be carefull to hit it straight or else the screwdriver will bend or break. Good luck!
