arty909 Posted August 29, 2009 Report Share Posted August 29, 2009 Well, this was really just an experiment. I have a 'Vollmer' German-made, ultra high quality 22mm mesh strap in my parts box... It was originally purchased for a Gen 1966 Breitling chrono I sold a long time ago. I have wondered how a Fiddy would look on one, but was too cheap to pay the 64 bucks from 'Watchstyle' in the U.K. I found this super-cheapie on the Bay- $3.99 plus a couple bucks for shipping! It arrived today, and the jury is still out. Suprisingly it's made very solid but A- It's too thin, and B- It's too shiny.
