billy_bunter Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I need a movement for an Omega PO Chronograph (dials at 3,6,9 and date at 4). Does anybody know where I can get a correctly modified Asian 7750 that will fit? Thanks
andreww Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Try contacting these guys. Last I checked they were selling the 3-6-9 version for just over $100. Send an email, because I dont think they list it on their site. http://somalcanada.com/
billy_bunter Posted September 15, 2009 Author Report Posted September 15, 2009 Thanks, I just tried them but sadly they don't have the correct one (their 7750 with 3-6-9 has no date). I have had an offer from a dealer here for

billy_bunter Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Heheh! Nice idea - I have already had a quote from Jackson for $130 just for the movement, but I'm not sure it would fit correctly (and the date wheel is definitely wrong) seems high. would the chrono out of a marina militare work? http://www.jacksontse.com/mm039.html Seconds at 9... You can pick that up for 180 shipped. If it works, save ya 10 bucks! and I would buy the case/dial etc from you:)
Toadtorrent Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Peter (aka Watchstation) can get it (he's got a section here).
Bike Mike Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 I am almost 100% positive I have a brand new one laying around if interested. Subdials @ 3-6-9 with date @ 4. Bought it for a project until I got my hands on a ETA 7753. I will post some pics tonight.
billy_bunter Posted September 17, 2009 Author Report Posted September 17, 2009 Mike, I will take it if you still have it - does it have the white-on-black datewheel?
Bike Mike Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 I think it is a white date wheel with black text. If you already have the proper date wheel, you should be able to swap it out. I will get some pics up tonight for you.
Bike Mike Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 Bill, Here you go. I just fired it up and every thing works fine. I do not know if this is hi or low beat movement. Let me know if you would like it. I just looked and I paid $125 for it shipped.
