Correct Lume Mix for PAM 250 hands

Hi All,

This may be an easy question to answer. But does anyone know what (approximately) mix of lume would be needed to get the same ambient light color and luminescence color as the hands in a gen 250 daylight?

Much appreciated!

I believe C1 and C3

On a related note, it seems the current Lume experts (Vac/Zig) don't apply it fully to genuine specs, as the gen also has the numbers in the 6 o'clock sub-dial lumed. Has anyone tried to lume them?

I think that it would take an incredible amount of patience to lume the subdial at 6 numerals, but not impossible, esp. if you get a slow drying lume vehicle, and use a steady hand.

I've always wondered why one couldn't create a stencil/template with the lume areas cut-out, for each specific dial (popular ones, anyway). Then use it to paint/apply the lume.

I like this idea

You could potentially make a template from the scan of the dial fed into a die cutting printer

Still would be a lot of skill in making the markings look right 3-dimensionally, you couldn't just slather the stuff on, obviously

but brilliant.
