Omega Speedmaster Original

Hi,

I'm going to collect a 3 week old Omega Speedmaster Professional from a private seller.

Can someone tell me, is the warranty for the watch still valid once it has been sold on & is technically second hand?

The warranty of an Omega watch goes with the watch. The Omega warranty is usually 2 years except for the co-axial movement which is 3. The co-axial movement is used in very few Speedmaster Professionals. The only one I can think of is the very limited (1957 pieces) of the 50th Anniv. Speedmaster Professional.

Its only 11 days old. I've got all the reciepts from Goldsmith, it was originally purchased on 08-09-2009.
