any ideas on how to age/distress a pvd Pam?

wondering if there's ideas out there on how to tone down the sheen of a standard dealer pvd PAM -- which as you all know, is not bead-blasted?...thinkin it would be cool to age/distress it -- if that can be done thru some chemical kinda process...

any ideas on dulling the sheen and/or aging/distressing welcome...

I dont have the PAM but, what I have done before is set the case in the oven and bake it :) You could also but some baby powder on it and bake it. It will give it a sort of TI PVD look :)

If that won't work, try ScotchBrite and detergent! Soak the case in the detergent for a half and hour, then just scrub gently!

Depends on the effect you want, you could go hard!

@siesta, like wolf said...old school dsn 202...try it out my friend, maybe an hour of cape cod and it seriously looks similar to a dlc'd lead pencil grey :D
