tenacious_b
Good morning everyone, One of my non-forum buddies has an EL 063 with the modified 2836 movement and is considering selling it to one of his co-workers (as a rep obviously); can anyone help in establishing a value for this piece? It's in good shape an on a panatime croco-leather strap with a thumbnail buckle, but also has the original non-tapered ss bracelet. Thanks in advance for any help. Best, Bryan
deltatahoe
hmmm. i'm assuming this is the stock watch with no modifications? hard to say. unless i'm mistaken, i don't think there was anything special about the 063s that EL sourced vs. other versions. i'm assuming these are still available from our collectors today, so i don't think it should fetch much more than $200... deltatahoe
l3x
There was a thread on the 063 on RG. And it seems the 063 is sold out. So you may be able to demand a higher price I'm thinking $
Jimster
Is it the old skool case?
tenacious_b
it's just under 5 years old and he got it from Eddie Lee, so I am assuming it's the old case.
tenacious_b
Oh yeah, since they are not making these anymore, does anyone want to throw out a different figure from $200 or $201?
w0lf
if doesn't have the big daddy eta2893 it's not worth much more, especially stock... they've been popping up here and there and the prices i saw were between 200 and 280. i would personally not pay more than 200-250. that watch needs a new crown, relume, datwheel and cyclops. Jimster
I'm betting you could get $400 for that old skool case in a New York second. Just try Rep Geek. They seem to be really into Pam mods.
w0lf
Jimser, There was a FS thread on there for like a year for 063 with and extra dial, straps & crown and nobody jumped. Now if you offer a fully done one that's a whole other story, it's a sellers market then since the mod parts are hard to source.
