landwomble Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 Right, I'm almost settled on a Getatwatch custom: 44mm Luminor Titanium case, black sandwich dial, superwhite lume, black hands with matching lume, black strap...possibly a Destro. Getatwatch don't seem to do titanium clasps except in 22m which reading his email sounds like it only fits certain straps. He also has deployment clasps on black straps, but not for his handmade straps (not sure what I'd get with this). Anyone know either the standard size strap for a 44mm PAM (straight 24mm?) or a source for titanium buckles or deployment clasps to fit the standard size strap? Drulee Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 24mm at the lugs, then 24mm or 22mm at the ends depending upon what buckle you want to use. If you're using deployant it is 22mm at the ends and has to be made specifically for deployant (thinner strap). Titanium buckles are hard to find, StrapCulture has some titanium plated ones though. But You can also buy a 24 mm titanium one from DSN but then You have two Panerai logos engraved on it (but that is easy to remove using snadpaper! In 22 mm DSN has both with and without the engraving on the titanium clasp. And a 100% titaniumclasp is a MUST if You have a titanium watch!!!!!!!!
